Last July 16, 2024, leaders from the STI Tagum Council participated in the Global Youth Summit 2024 at the Tagum City Historical and Cultural Center. The transformative event aimed to unite and connect youth from the Davao Region and worldwide 🤝🌏 in exploring sustainable development 💡 through inspiring and knowledgeable sessions 📖 with various speakers 🗣️ from different organizations and institutions.

Under the golden and warm rays of the sun 🌞and beside the peaceful and tranquil waves of the sea 🌊, the STI Tagum Council Leaders Officers of the School Year 2023-2024 celebrated another exciting day filled with fun and memorable moments 🌟.

Last July 1, 2024, the STCL Officers reminisced about their unforgettable experiences and the strong bonds they have formed throughout their year of service. The officers enjoyed joyous games, heartfelt conversations, and delightful adventures in the middle of the sea, creating an experience that rejuvenated and reinforced their commitment, dedication, and unity not just as council leaders but as a family 🫂🤍.

The unwavering support, enthusiasm, and camaraderie of this year's batch, along with the STCL's empowering and beloved moderator, Ma'am Tefan Leigh Lancita, brought a positive energy that made this team-building event a happy and successful occasion. Together as a family, this year's batch has strengthened its team with their dedication and passion led to their growth, and helped them to create a solid foundation for their success in all the events they managed together!

Here's to many more moments and journeys of growth. This isn't a goodbye but simply the beginning of more adventures. We are all grateful for everyone's incredible dedication and spirit in leadership throughout this school year. Yesterday, July 1, 2024, was a PAW-ntastic day for the STI Tagum Council Leaders of the school year 2023-2024, as the Outreach Program for Rescued Dogs and Cats became a heartwarming success. This project was initiated by the student leaders, who created a donation drive to provide food, medical supplies, and love to our beloved rescued dogs and cats located in our local shelter at Dona Regina Dalisay Ave., Tagum City.

On behalf of the entire STI Tagum Council Leaders, we would like to extend our sincere gratitude to all our ever-supportive STIers who donated dog food, cat food, and other supplies for our stray cats and dogs. Your utmost generosity made a huge difference in the lives of these loving animals. Without your support, this outreach program would not have been possible.💛💙

On June 25, 2024, the day was filled with bittersweet emotions as the batch 2023-2024 SHS and Tertiary STIers closed one chapter of their lives to begin another journey. The recently held commencement exercises served as a motivation and a testament to the excellence, hard work, and success of our beloved graduates throughout their time at STI Tagum.

The paths taken by our cherished STIers have been filled with happiness and unforgettable memories, as well as challenges and obstacles that nurtured their knowledge and fostered personal growth. On this day, we celebrated not just the culmination of their hard work and perseverance throughout the year, but also the bonds, learnings, and lessons that have shaped them and the dreams they hold onto.

STIers, as you step forward into new beginnings in your academic endeavors, may you carry all the values and lessons learned, applying them not just in academics but in all aspects of life, and uphold the values of a true STIer as you continue to strive for excellence and success. Roan Angela Rillon, RND, SK Federation President of Tagum City, delved into how the unique leadership styles of Gen Z's are shaping the future. The guest speaker reminisced about her experience as a student leader during her senior high school and college years and how it became the foundation of who she is today.

In her interactive discussion, Hon. Roan Rillon highlighted the impact of technology, flexibility, collaboration, transparency, adaptability, and continuous learning in effective leadership. The student leaders of STI Tagum were also able to unload their thoughts and share their insights in striking a balance between academics and student leader responsibilities. As the modern world faces several challenges, such as climate change and various social issues, the importance of prioritizing leadership that focuses on sustainability was underscored in the discussion. After being enlightened, the student leaders also embraced the spirit of teamwork in fun games and activities.

Throughout the event, new lessons were learned and a stronger sense of community was forged. Our sincerest thanks goes to the people who made this wonderful event possible. To the outgoing and newly elected STCL officers, thank you for your staedfast dedication to each and every successful school activity in this school year. To ma'am Tefan, we deeply appreciate your unwavering support as the STCL moderator. To Hon. Roan Rillon, we are honored to receive the invaluable wisdom that you have imparted to the youth who participated in today's event. A PAW FOR A CAUSE FOR STRAY CATS AND DOGS! 🐾

Animal shelters in the City of Tagum have observed a rise in the population of stray cats and dogs. With this harsh situation, supplies needed to provide these stray cats and dogs their essentials have become increasingly difficult. In regards to this, the STI Student Council Leaders or STCL initiated a donation drive to provide these animals their foods and other needs to donate to our chosen animal shelter.

All together, let us show our love and care to our stray cats and dogs through this wonderful donation drive this upcoming June 28, 2024.

Last May 17, 2024, the DeSTInation: The STI College Tagum Official Publishing and Media Team, officially opened its casting call for applications for the next members for the academic year 2024-2025. The interview and the skills test eventually took place starting May 24, 2024.

After the meticulous deliberation and decision-making between the current DeSTInation Heads and current pioneers as well as the newly appointed DeSTInation Heads for the next school year, 𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺!
