After a series of powerful spikes and serves, The Rizal Memorial Colleges, Inc. Tagum City Branch Volleyball receives first place after a competitive battle against the Davao del Norte Regional Sports Academy on October 30, 2024, at the Sports Ta Uy Tagum City Inter-school Volleyball Tournament, Rotary Gym, Tagum City.
The RMC Bulldogs overpowered the court, after succeeding several eliminations in the previous days, bringing pride to the school.
Finally, to seal off this year's volleyball tournament with a bang, the RMC Bulldogs went head-to-head with the Davao del Norte Regional Sports Academy, who triumphantly bagged the title of champion, 0-3.
After conquering and winning against various other schools, the RMC Bulldogs successfully ended their voyage with an impressive record of 5-2.
Ultimately, they will continue to carry the school's name with pride as they pledge to clinch the championship title in future tournaments.

To promote global awareness and embracing various world aspects and cultures, The Rizal Memorial Colleges (RMC) held a colorful and meaningful program in the school lobby in celebration of United Nations Day with a theme โCultivating a Culture of Peaceโ on October 30, 2024.
In the afternoon, students gathered for a series of competitions to showcase their talents and understanding of global issues through events such as Essay Writing, Extemporaneous Speaking, Battle of the Brains, and Poster Making.
During the Extemporaneous Speaking Competition, participants demonstrated their sharp thinking and shared their insights and opinions on timely global challenges, within just a few minutes of preparation, each speaker delivered a speech responding to those issues and offered their solutions in addressing them.
In the Essay Writing competition, students expressed their perspectives on the mission of the United Nations, using their knowledge of the assigned topics to create insightful essays, their writings reflected their deep understanding on both national and international issues, as well as their appreciation for unity among nations.
Additionally , the Battle of the Brains featured teams competing in a test of knowledge in history, science, geography, and current events, this competition showcased the quick thinking and strong memory skills of participants from various groups.
In the Poster Making Competition, students displayed their creative skills through posters aligned with the theme, each artwork conveyed colorful symbols and messages that embodied the theme of unity and cultural diversity.
Furthermore, rizalians also displayed excellence through their cultural dance performances that showcased various traditions, including beachy and sexy outfits of North America, the vibrant traditional clothing of Africa, and the elegant attire of Europe

Al-Rasheim Saggap, 16 years old from The Rizal Memorial Colleges Inc. (RMC), took the top spot at the recent 3rd Batang Surigaonon Battle of Surigao Strait Triathlon 2024 in male 19 below sprint distance category.
Mr. Saggap secured first place in the said category, finishing with a time of 1:10.25. His talent and ability to compete demonstrated dedication, symbolizing himself as champion who outperformed his rivals.

With passion and dedication, students crafted appetizer, main course, and dessert salads in the RMC kitchen laboratory. Guided by Ma'am Crystel Jane Macabasa, they refined their skills and attention to detail.
Through this hands-on journey, students discovered the value of teamwork, creativity, and perseverance. Wearing their crisp white uniforms, they embodied professionalism and pride in their craft.
This semi-final exam was more than a test โ it was a catalyst for growth. By mastering salad preparation, students nurtured their confidence, creativity, and technical expertise.
RMC Tagum's TVL program fosters a supportive community, empowering students to reach their full potential. This activity celebrated the students' progress, dedication, and passion for culinary excellence.
In conclusion, the salad preparation semi-final exam was a testament to RMC Tagum's TVL students' culinary artistry and technical prowess. Through this transformative experience, they blossomed into skilled, confident, and industry-ready professionals, ready to make their mark in the culinary world.

Despite some difficulties due to the low rainfall, the students delivered a wow-worthy presentation. Led by the PE Coordinator, Mr. Dave Elaya, together with Mr. Emelito Basalo Jr. and Mr. Rex Milljan Dela Cruz, and with the guidance of the school director, Mr. Julito A. Orio, the event successfully drew to a close after many cheers and yells from the surrounding spectators.
Additionally, it is without a doubt that all sections exhibited their skills and talents through their spectacular executions in cheerdancing.
This event charmed several onlookers but at the same time, promoted physical fitness among Rizalians while improving their balance, flexibility, and coordination.
This event is a testament to the many talents and skills that Rizalians possess, which will only be further progressed to the many more events awaiting in the future.

While fostering collaboration among educators, Senior High School (SHS) academic coordinators initiated the Curriculum Evaluation and Pedagogical Best Practices Integration for SHS Faculty, aiming to align curricula across all disciplines with current educational standards on October 21, 2024.
Faculty members from different majors took a one-hour exam in which they scrutinized test questionnaires (TQs) and tables of specification (TOS), identified errors, and made modifications accordingly.
Moreover, a post-conference was held after the exam to deliberate and discuss the best pedagogical practices for crafting quality TQs and TOS while addressing the faculty membersโ concerns regarding teaching and management.
With this initiative, academic coordinators anticipate improvements and developments in teachers' practices so that, in the succeeding terms, quality education can be achieved.
