It is undoubtedly another step towards the enhancement of educational standards, as Tagum Doctors College, Inc. represented by Dr. Jesa S. Madelo, RPh, MPH, during the renewal of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between TDCI's School of Pharmacy and Chulalongkorn University's Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences in Bangkok, Thailand.

The objective of the event is to fortify TDCI's worldwide connections while embracing the University's innovative teaching and learning approaches. In line with this global partnership, Tagum Doctors College will be capable of producing more world-class and competitive professionals who will exhibit the wisdom and values that TDCI nurtured in them.

Thirteen existing Presidential and Academic Scholars now have ten more members in the family, and seventeen more for the TDCI Employee Dependent Scholar, ranging from the different departments such as Radiologic Technology, Pharmacy, Psychology, Biology, and Medical Laboratory Science. These new scholars are granted an opportunity of a lifetime, providing them the needed services to fulfill their dreams and alleviate the financial burdens of their families.

With the signing of their contracts on September 6, 2024, at Tagum Doctors College Inc.'s Audio Visual Room, these scholars have secured a brighter future. Thanks to TDCI’s generosity, these students will surely have a bright future ahead, knowing that they are now one step closer towards achieving their goals in life with love and bliss!

Dr. Jesa S. Madelo, RPh, MPH, proudly represented Tagum Doctors College, Inc. at the ASEAN University Network Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) 20th Training Course for Accomplishing Programme Assessment (Tier 1) held from August 27 to 30, 2024. The event took place in Bangkok, Thailand.

On the first day of the training, Dr. Madelo and other participants engaged in an in-depth exploration of the AUN-QA framework and assessment models. Day 1 focused on Criterion 1, covering the Expected Learning Outcomes and Programme Structure and Content. These areas emphasized aligning curricula with OBE and ensuring measurable achievements. The session also introduced the tools for assessing these outcomes. The training continues with further presentations on Criterion 2, 3, and 4 and will continue on Day 2, further advancing the participants' understanding of quality assurance in higher education.

Tagum Doctors College remains dedicated to enhancing educational standards through active participation in high-caliber training programs. The Tagum Doctors College, Inc. family is beyond proud of Dr. Jesa S. Madelo, RPh, MPH, as she represents our school.

August 21, 2024, marks the official turnover of 15 "Olympus CX23 Binocular Microscopes" from the school’s Operations and Admin Department to the Academics Department of Tagum Doctors College, Inc. These new microscopes will serve as essential tools for our future scientists, enhancing their education and fueling their quest toward excellence.

This event took place in the school's Audio-Visual Room (AVR) and was attended by the Deans of the Medical Laboratory Science (MLS), Radiologic Technology (RadTech), Biology, and Pharmacy Departments, along with members of the school's Executive Committee.

The Olympus CX23 microscope model features outstanding optical performance, with high-quality UIS2 optics that deliver clear, bright images with true-to-life color reproduction, thereby enhancing our laboratory experiences.

Its ergonomic design includes a low stage height and an adjustable binocular head. Other specifications highlight its durability, lightweight construction, and built-in carrying handle, making it easily portable.

Unlike traditional microscopes, the Olympus CX23 is designed with LED illumination, providing consistent lighting with minimal heat. It also has anti-fungal coated optics for longevity, especially in humid climates.

Microscopes serve as the lens through which we view a world beyond our daily perceptions. They enable us to broaden our perspectives, open our minds, ignite curiosity, and appreciate the complex yet fascinating world beyond the naked eye.
