The participant must be a resident of Tagum City aged 15-30 years old.
Professional and amateur photographers are eligible to submit entries.
Must be a member or ally of LGBTIA+ community.

𝐆𝐔𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐒
•The participants must use any sizes of LGBTQIA+ flags to showcase the celebration of the Pride Month or Binuhat Festival 2023.
•Only one entry is allowed per participant. Any participant found submitting multiple entries shall be blacklisted from the competition and all entries received from such participants shall not be considered for the purposes of the competition.
•The entry must not bear any obscene content. (Failure to comply should mean disqualification.)
•The entry must be an original and bona fide work of the participant.
•The entry should not be submitted to any other competition or have been previously submitted/posted elsewhere on social media.
•Photographs should be in digital format/file. The organizers will not accept print or film submissions for the initial screening of the entries. Only photos/images submitted via registration site will be accepted.
•Photographs to be submitted should have no watermark. There should be no identifying mark on the images to eliminate any bias during the screening and judging of the submitted photos.
•Studio shots are not allowed.
•Background of the photo must include Tagum City landmarks and tourist spots.
•All submitted entries will automatically become a property of the City Government of Tagum and shall be used for promotion purposes only.

Wave the banner of pride as the Youth Fest `22 is in search of Miss Paraluman, an advocacy-driven pageant that takes part in LGBTQIA+ empowerment and making initiatives that will help them nurture and inspire others to pursue their advocacy for the sector.

GENERAL GUIDELINES
1.Open to all g**s, 15-30 years old residing in Tagum City, Davao del Norte.
2.Interested candidates must register through https://tinyurl.com/msparaluman on or before April 26, 2022.
3.All interested candidates are required to attend the screening process on April 27, 2022, 3 pm at 2/F Tagum City Youth Development Office, New City Hall.
4.Official candidates will be required to attend the Youth Festival Grand Launching on May 2, 2022, in their Avante Garde Attire for the preliminary judging.
5.Pageant night is on May 8, 2022, 6:00 P.M. at the Tagumpay Theater, Tagum City Historical and Cultural Center.

Recently, the Philippines, particularly some parts of Visayas and Northern Mindanao had been devastated during the onslaught of Typhoon Odette. Many were left with destroyed homes and communities, while the most unfortunate ones even lost their loved ones. Worse, surviving a day for them became utterly hard as supplies ran out, jobs stopped, and almost everything seemed to shut down and the only thing left is hope for help.

Because of these, the Council of Department Student Government (CDSG), Council of Student Organizations (CSO), and Collegium, under the guidance of the Office of Student Affairs, agreed to work for joint advocacy of raising help for Typhoon Odette Victims through the donation drive called 𝗕𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗢𝗡 𝗦𝗨𝗥𝗜𝗚𝗔𝗢𝗡𝗢𝗡: 𝗔 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁-𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗺𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝘆𝗽𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗻 𝗢𝗱𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲.

The said bayanihan targets to gather in-kind donations especially goods/food packs (canned goods, rice, noodles, etc.), water, tents, and hygiene kits, from UM Tagum College students through the facilitation of the aforesaid prime organizations.
The donation period shall run from January 17 to 27. Donations shall be accepted from 9 AM to 4 PM at the Office of Student Affairs. Donors would receive a certificate of appreciation upon turnover of their donations.

The 𝙊𝙁𝙁𝙄𝘾𝙀 𝙊𝙁 𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝙎𝙏𝙐𝘿𝙀𝙉𝙏 𝘼𝙁𝙁𝘼𝙄𝙍𝙎 (𝙊𝙎𝘼) imposed that there will be 𝗡𝗢 𝗔𝗦𝗬𝗡𝗖𝗛𝗥𝗢𝗡𝗢𝗨𝗦 𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗘𝗦 during the 𝗩𝗜𝗥𝗧𝗨𝗔𝗟 𝗢𝗥𝗚𝗔𝗡𝗜𝗭𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗗𝗔𝗬 (Dec. 2, 2021). In order to maximize student’s participation and teachers support on the said activity.

The United Pride Movement Organization (UPMO) will held it's first Imperative Leadership Training for this school year 2021-2022, with the theme UPMO on the Go Express , Explore and Excel towards Gender Equality and Good Leadership . This event aims to hone the student leaders in the organization to master the art of being a leader and how to lead an organization effectively.

The said activity will be on October 23,2021 at exactly 1pm via google meet .

Aside from the officers of the organization, we are inviting members and non-members to attend the said activity so that all of us will gain knowledge that we can use to build our foundation as leaders.

# Imperative Leadership Training 2021

Please be informed that for the Intramural 2021-2022, each department shall encourage all students to participate the said activity.

We will have five (4) attendance and one (1) evaluation for the entire event:
-2 attendance for Day 1 (morning and afternoon)
-1 attendance for Day 2 (morning)
-1 attendance for Day 3 (morning)
-1 evaluation for Day 3 (afternoon)

Google form will be closed right after the end of the program and we will not reopen the attendance/evaluation once closed.

The United Pride Movement Organization (UPMO) is active in empowering and advocating gender equality through implementing different activities and program in the entire Campus. The organization conceptualize this Year Virtual Oath Taking Ceremony and Organization Orientation as part of our Annual Operational Plan this will help the Organization to oversee the orderliness of the organization ,its Organizational structure ,financial or logistics,and its other internal component .

The said Virtual Oath Taking Ceremony also been participated by the Organization allays and members . Dr Jose Elmer Oficiar the UPMO- adviser give his Opening Remarks and also the CDSG President and the CSO President also present to the said event. The OSA Head Prof Larry Bercilla also give his Congratulations to all the Newly Elected UPMO Officers through CDSG President Jessa Sajetarios .

Sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, and s*x characteristics (SOGIESC) is a universal and inclusive framework which does not only apply to the LGBTQ+ community but to all of us.

Recognizing and understanding these concepts can further combat SOGIE-based discrimination, violence, and oppression in schools, workplaces, institutions, and in broader society.

Let us be clear, the proposed SOGIE Equality Bill will give every individual in the Philippines equal rights and protection against SOGIE-based discrimination and will not provide special treatment to the LGBTQ+ community only.
