When you got to Malaybalay City Transport terminal in Bukidnon,ride on a “RELA” going to Brgy. Can-ayan for only 11 pesos fare then you have to transfer on a “Habal-habal” going directly to Sabangan for 50 pesos per head but if you have your own private vehicle,there is a parking space there!

📌Motorcycle: 30 php (daytour),60 php (overnight)
📌Car/Van: 100 (daytour), 200 (overnight)

About 30-40 minutes walking/hiking from the parking space with 3 rivers to cross (very accessible though) till you get to Sabangan Campsite 🙂

Camiguin is tagged as "The Island Born of Fire" as it rose from a Volcanic Eruption.The island is best known for its fascinating white sand beaches, amazing waterfalls, delicious lanzones,volcanoes and many more 😍

🎯HOW TO GET THERE?

To reach Camiguin, you have 2 options:
1.Get on a FLIGHT ✈️ to Camiguin Airport from Cebu since only Cebu Pacific offers flights DIRECT to Camiguin
2.Board a FERRY from the PORT OF BALINGOAN to BENONI WHARF.

But most travelers opt to board on a FERRY cause it might really be COSTLY getting on a FLIGHT for BUDGETarian travellers like us 😅

To reach the Port of Balingoan,you have to ride on a bus/van/taxi for 2-3 hours estimated travel time from Cagayan de Oro (Agora) for 150-300/head.
You pay cheaper if you ride on a bus 😊

To set proper expectations,it is not that easy to just board a FERRY from Balingoan to Benoni as per experience specially on HOLIDAYS, a lot of travellers really visit the beautiful island...You have to fall in line and wait for your turn. The earlier you get to Balingoan port, the better :)

*We rode on a multicab for P35 each going to GV HOTEL where we stayed for 2 days and 2 nights good for P2000 good for 3pax plus deposit na P200 for the TV remote (refundable).

📌 I recommend GV Hotel because aside sa cheap lang sya, very accessible sya sa mga establishments dun. Malapit lang sa Jollibee, Gaisano, Market and Banks.

✅As for the ride namin,we rented a SCOOTER sa GV Hotel lang din where we stayed,meron silang for rent na motor for only P600 good for 24 hrs. Dapat may Driver’s license & isa lang dapat ang angkas ng motor & need nka helmet (provided ng nagpapa-RENT)

There is no direct flight to Mati City but the nearest airport is in DAVAO CITY.
