Cleon Gabriel Notarion Triumphs at National Sci-Poster Making Competition

In an impressive showcase of artistic ingenuity, Cleon Gabriel Notarion, a gifted Grade 9 student from Tagum National Trade School-Special Program in the Arts (SPA), clinched the top spot at the prestigious National Sci-Poster Making Competition, held at Quezon Central Elementary School in Baguio City on February 24, 2024. Notarion's exceptional talent and creativity propelled him to victory, captivating judges and attendees alike with his winning entry.

Under the mentorship of his dedicated coach, Charlie C. Tocmo, Notarion navigated the intricate process of conceptualization and ex*****on, receiving invaluable guidance and encouragement every step of the way.

Notarion's winning masterpiece stood as a testament to his unparalleled skill and unwavering commitment, seamlessly integrating scientific principles with artistic flair. His meticulous attention to detail, coupled with a vibrant palette, effectively conveyed the competition's theme, leaving an indelible mark on the judges.

School-based contests shall be conducted in the school, to wit: Scientist Photo Look-a-like, Sci-Quiz, Sci-Chess, Sci-Dama, Sci-Spelling and Sci-Duko. "Sa wakas, makakasaksi tayo ng isang Solar Eclipse (20 Abril 2023), kung saan mag-a-align ang Sun, Moon, at Earth! (The moon will pass between Sun and Earth) Ang solar eclipse ngayong taon ay ang huling solar eclipse na makikita sa bansa hanggang sa taong 2028.

Sa buong mundo, ang April 20, 2023 eclipse ay isang hybrid eclipse, ang pinaka rare na uri ng solar eclipse.

Ang Hybrid Solar Eclipse ay nangyayari kapag ang eclipse ay nag-shift mula sa annular papunta sa total habang kumakalat ang anino ng buwan sa buong mundo. Ayon sa NASA, ang Hybrid Eclipse ay makikita sa ilang bahagi ng Australia, Timor-Leste, at Indonesia (West Papua at Papua), at makikita ito bilang Partial eclipse sa ilang bahagi ng Timog-Silangang Asya, East Indies, Australia, Pilipinas, at New Zealand.

Sa Manila, hanggang sa 23.8% ng araw ay matatakpan ng buwan sa maximum ng partial eclipse sa tanghali! Samantala, ang mga bahagi ng bansa, lalo na sa timog-silangang bahagi ng Mindanao, ay magkakaroon ng pinakamagandang view ng eclipse dahil dadaan sa timog ng bansa ang path of totality. "

Kini, kahuman gi-deklara nang luwas o structurally safe ang mga eskwelahan alang sa pagbalik sa klase gawas nalang didto sa gi-assess nga nanginahanglan pa og Level 2 ug Level 3 recommendation subay sa assessment sa City Government kauban ang Department of Education (DepEd) ug Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).

Magsugod kini karong adlawa, March 7, 2023, hangtod i-lift sa gobyerno subay sa deklarasyon sa PLGU-Davao del Norte. Kini alang magpahigayon og building integrity assessment sa tanang establisyemento sa siyudad kahuman sa nahitabong Magnitude 6.2 nga linog karong adlawa.

Sa kasamtangan, aktibong nagapahigayon og assessment ang atong mga personahe sa City Engineering Office, City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, Civil Security Unit, ug Bureau of Fire and Protection sa atong mga establisyemento.

Subay sab sa abiso sa Department of Education (DepEd), magpadayon gihapon ang klase sa tanang lebel apan ipahigayon nalang kini pinaagi sa blended learning (online o modular).
