AUTISM IS HARD.

There are people out in the world who don’t want me to say that.

In fact, they may get downright angry and say really hurtful, ugly things.

They may bully me online and say that I don’t love my child.

They may call me a “martyr mom” or make fun of me.

Maybe their experience is different. I wish they wouldn’t assume anything about ours.

Maybe the way they are affected by being autistic isn’t the same and doesn’t affect their loved ones the way it does my child and my family.

It doesn’t matter.

No one gets to tell me about my experience. About my husband’s. About my other children’s.

I know what we’ve been through in the past nine years.

I know what we’ve been through just this week.

My child has autism/my child is autistic.

They might be mad that I said that too because nowadays people have an opinion on which is better or that what they personally prefer is the only opinion.

To some, they don’t mean the same thing.

One is an identity. The other is a disorder.

Is it one or the other? Is it both?

My child has a disability.

My child doesn’t understand safety or danger.

My child elopes from his home and away from his loved ones and safe adults.

My child struggles with transitions.

My child struggles to hear the word no or accept any refusal of a preferred item.

My child is aggressive.

My child injures himself and others.

My child throws, smashes and breaks things.

My child destroys our home.

My child won’t always sit safely in a car.

My child can’t attend a typical classroom and needs maximum support to attend school at all and can’t communicate much about his day.

My child never sits still. Ever.

My child struggles to regulate his emotions.

My child can’t always tell me if something is wrong with his body.

My child can’t tell me if he was bullied or abused.

My child needs extra, one to one ratio support every single moment of his life.

My child can’t ever be left alone.

Yes it’s spectrum but…

The way my child is affected by his autism is SEVERE. The way he is affected by the world and the people in it who don’t understand him is SEVERE.

Maybe YOUR autism isn’t hard. Maybe THEIR autism isn’t hard.

BUT OURS IS. Meaning OUR journey.

The way it affects my child is HARD.

The way it affects those around him is HARD.

Please stop shaming those who say it is.

It’s ok to say it’s hard and still love your child with everything you are.

We will not share any photos esp face expose of the child and our daily activity.Our aim and goal is to practice and protect the right of the child ,respect the child since they are the most vulnerable creature and practice the privacy of the child from any harmful predator publicly. We never use them as promotion except our model in tiptoes who is the daughter of the owner .

Here's our summer kids list activity for 1 month.
Rest assured we cover up the 20 activities in 1 month. Parents please be advise please read our house rules so you won't missed anything. Reading is a key to be oriented and understand how our system works.
●Our rule is 2 to 3 activity each day only with 15 minutes to play( within 60 min activity) in our therapy center since there is kids undergo a therapy session.
●Please reach out us also about activity of your child and performance how eager he or she learn,how motivated she/he was,is he picky? Is he can stay longer than usual.activity? Is he focus or good follower, is he behave inside ? Is he easily attract and eager to learn? How long he can focus on one activity and instruction? Is he easily get bored? So there is no conflict or sabotage/biased from 1 side answer only from your child. Also we are happy and flexible to open a communication how your child behave on summer kids camp as you are the one enrolled and knows the program. And provide the feedback/ response of your child performance on our summer kids camp inside the room.
