Especially in this pandemic, reports have emerged on the regression of people's state of mental health, since we've been living in isolation for quite too long now. We have to admit that continually adjusting to this new normal is indeed difficult. Also, it's considered taboo in many Filipino families to talk about one's mental health, or even mention a bit of its existence. Some think it's better to just sweep it under the rug and call it a day. Well, as Marian liberal students, we refuse to keep quiet! Following this year's Virtual Liberal Arts Day and its theme, “In GEAR: Marian-Liberal Arts Students Grow, Engage, Advocate, and Rise in the Face of Pandemic", we are willing to be the voice of those who are afraid to speak and shed light on the current realities of mental health.
