Proving its commitment to excellence, St. Mary's College of Tagum, Inc. (SMCTI) proudly produced 11 new Registered Psychometricians (RPMs) in the recently concluded August 2024 Board Licensure Examination for Psychometricians.

As announced by the Professional Regulation Commission last August 20, the 11 Marian RPMs are among the 7, 478 passers of the said examination.

Indeed, kahit ano mang laban, kayang-kaya yan ng Marian Psychometrician!

As we welcome new opportunities for this new academic year, the Marian Association of Future Psychologists (MAFP), is pleased to announce its official line up for the School Year 2024-2025.

As the representing body of the Bachelor of Arts in Psychology program, the MAFP is dedicated to serving the department and its students by providing support, guidance, and opportunities for growth.

The AB Psychology program of St. Mary’s College of Tagum Inc. hosted a send-off ceremony last August 2 for their alumni as they prepare to take the Board Licensure Examination for Psychologists and Psychometricians (BLEPP) this coming August 11.

Along with the Holy Spirit Mass to pray for guidance and knowledge, the program also organized the event to express support and encouragement to the aspiring mental health professionals.

The AB Psychology Program of St. Mary's Tagum College Inc. held a culmination ceremony last Friday, July 12th, 2024, to celebrate the success of their AB-4 student interns, and for them to share their experiences gained during their internships in clinical, industrial-organizational, educational, and community settings.

Along with the interns and the AB psychology faculty members, the ceremony was attended by supervisors from the various training establishments where the interns had completed their placements.

Congratulations to the fourth (4th) year AB Psychology students of St. Mary’s College of Tagum, Inc., who successfully passed the 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲 (𝗖𝗛𝗥𝗔) by HREAP Assessment Examination held on March 23-24,2024 and April 20-21, 2024.

The Bachelor of Arts in Psychology of St. Mary’s College of Tagum, Inc., will hold its 3rd Pinning and Candle Lighting Ceremony for the third (3rd) year AB Psychology students, with the theme: "𝘒𝘐𝘕𝘈𝘐𝘠𝘈: 𝘪𝘯 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘥𝘰𝘸𝘴, 𝘸𝘦 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘭 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦; 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵, 𝘸𝘦 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘣𝘳𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺".

This event marks their inaugural stride of becoming formal interns symbolizing the students’ achievement before advancing to the real setting profession.

"𝗦𝗶𝗹𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰", a Mindanao-wide Mental Health Summit held in the Ateneo de Davao University, consisted of a series of workshops that surely left a mark on our Young Mental Health Advocates.

Within Silay's array of lectures and workshops, 𝗠𝘀. 𝗦𝗼𝗽𝗵𝗶𝗮 𝗞𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗹𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗗𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗥𝗣𝗺, a member of the SMCTI AB Psychology Faculty and Moderator of the Marian Association of Future Psychologists (MAFP), contributed her expertise as an esteemed speaker in a workshop entitled “𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘫𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘏𝘦𝘈𝘙𝘛: 𝘔𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘥𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘈𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘤 𝘌𝘹𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯, 𝘏𝘢𝘳𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘏𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨”
