28 April 2024 - In view of the latest heat index forecast of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) and the announcement of a nationwide transport strike, all public schools nationwide shall implement ASYNCHRONOUS CLASSES/DISTANCE LEARNING on April 29 and 30, 2024.

Likewise, teaching and non-teaching personnel in all public schools shall not be required to report to their respective stations.

However, activities organized by Regional and Schools Division Offices, such as Regional Athletic Association Meets and other division or school level programs, to be conducted on the aforementioned dates may push through as scheduled, provided that measures for the safety of all participants have been carefully considered.

Finally, private schools shall not be covered by this advisory but shall have the option to implement the same.

Col. Rosalio C. Saludares served as the evacuation center for families as the authorities called for preemptive evacuation for residents who are near the Magdum River due to the Masara lines landslide incident. The school also held a debriefing session which is designed to provide a supportive space for residents affected by disaster, fostering healing, resilience, and a sense of community amid challenging times.

Moreover, as some of the classrooms were used as evacuation site for the residents, classes still continued in the conducive spaces around the school.

With the helping hand of each other, nothing we can never conquer.
