𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗥𝗼𝗱𝗼𝗹𝗳𝗼 𝗖𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘀 presented the resolution authored by 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗚𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘂𝗿𝗼 entitled, A Resolution commending Prime Stags Sports for Successfully Producing Top Tier Talisaynon Boxing Champions during the Prime Fight III of the Prime Fight series held at SM Seaside Skyhall on December 29, 2023.

* Passing & approval of the Resolution Commending and Congratulating the Bar Exam Passers of the City of Talisay, Province of Cebu for their admirable success in passing The 2023 Bar Examinations.
* Passing & approval of a Resolution Congratulating Mrs. Suzanne Niña Ugay Llanos for being crowned as Mrs. Cebu Philippines 2023, held on November 30, 2023, at the Waterfront Hotel and Casino, Cebu City.
* Other legislative action and measures were all approved by the Sanggunian members in today's session as well to better serve all Talisaynons.

Highlights:
• Approval of an Ordinance Authorizing the Supplemental Budget No. 2 and Appropriating the amount of Seventy-Seven Million, One Hundred Fifty-One Thousand Sixteen & 64/00 (Php77,151,016.64) Pesos Under the General Fund, Talisay City College, Market Operation & Slaughter House Operation for the Expenditures to be incurred up to December 31, 2024 of the City of Talisay.
• Other legislative action and measures were all approved by the Sanggunian members in today's session as well to better serve all Talisaynons.

Highlights:
• Approval of the 2024 Annual Budget of the City amounting to One Billion Six Hundred Forty-Five Million Eighty-Two Thousand Three Hundred Twenty-Nine Pesos (Php 1,645,082,329.00).
• Other legislative action and measures were all approved by the Sanggunian members in today's session as well to better serve all Talisaynons.

Today's 66th Regular Session of the 8th Sangguniang Panlungsod of the City of Talisay presided by Hon. Manuel C. Cabriana.

Highlights:
- In today's session, a resolution was shown expressing gratitude and appreciation to Hon. Madeliene H. Dela Torre for her outstanding service as the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Federation President of the City of Talisay from 2018-2023 was passed & approved by the City Council.

- Newly elected Sagguniang Kabataan (SK) Federation President from Brgy. Pooc, John Van Excel Restauro was also welcomed by the City Council who will serve as an incoming ex-officio member of the City Council.

Look: This is the 65th Regular Session of the 8th Sangguniang Panlungsod held today, November 7, 2023 which is presided by Hon. Eduardo R. Gullas III.

Highlights:
• Newly elected officers of Talisay City Chamber of Commerce with their President Mr. Archie Campo took a quick pose together with the members of the City Council after being introduced in todays session. In Mr. Campo's speech the young entrepreneur extends his gratitude towards Hon. Mayor Gerald Anthony "Samsam" Gullas Jr. and the City Council for its cooperation & support towards the Business sector in Talisay City that would better serve the interest of the City as a whole.
• Approval of the legislative action & measures that were scheduled in today's session that would benefit the Talisaynons.

Offices of the 8th Sangguniang Panlungsod & the Executive Department Offices participates in a halloween transformation vibe, in celebration of the Halloween.
Employees wore different spooky costumes & some different Disney characters too to welcome little ones and young at hearts as they parade inside the building for some candy & chocolate treats.🍭🍬

Truly it's a remarkable and unforgettable day for everyone indeed! 🎃🕸️🕯️

Highlights:
• Approval of an Ordinance authored by Hon. Eduardo R. Gullas III entitled, An Ordinance granting Cash Incentives to Board Examinations Passers residing in Talisay City, Cebu.
• Passing & approval of the resolution authored by Hon. Rodolfo L. Cagbigas entitled, Congratulating the 17-YearOld Multi-Sport Talisaynon Athlete, Christwil Villanueva for garnering the 2nd Place in the Overall Pirelli Cup 2023 Season, held at Clark International Speedway, Angeles City, Pampanga Philippines.
• Passing & approval of the resolution authored by Hon. Gail S. Restauro entitled, Congratulating & Commending Hon. City Councilor Danilo F. Caballero for Winning the 2nd Place VIP Endurance at the First Mayor Samsam Gullas Cup Jet Ski Competition, held at Larawan Beach, City of Talisay, Cebu dated October 21 to 22, 2023.
• Other legislative action and measures were all approved by the Sanggunian members in today's session as well that would benefit the Talisaynons.

This is the 63rd Regular Session of the 8th Sangguniang Panlungsod held today, October 17, 2023.
Highlights:
• Approval of the following resolutions authored by Hon. Lester L. Daan:
1. Congratulating Miss Rose Jane Israel crowned as Miss City of Talisay 2023 held last October 13, 2023 at Talisay City Sports Complex.
2. Congratulating the Winners of TINGOG TALISAYNON SEASON 3, held last October 12, 2023 at City Hall Park.
3. Congratulating the Winning Contingents of the HALAD INASAL FESTIVAL 2023, held last October 15, 2023 at Talisay City Central School Poblacion.
• Other legislative action and measures were all approved by the Sanggunian members in today's session that would benefit the Talisaynons.

Look: The 8th Sangguniang Panlungsod of the City of Talisay, convened earlier today, Oct. 11, 2023 at the City of Talisay Sports Complex to conduct its 3rd Special Session to formally open the State of the City Address of our Honorable Mayor Gerald Anthony V. Gullas Jr.

Mayor Samsam Gullas, together with 1st District Congresswoman Representative Hon. Rhea Mae Gullas joined the plenary with the SP members & updated the Talisaynons of the projects & programs of the City government under his Aksyon Agad administration.

Highlights:
• Before today's session started, a quick recess was made to give time to honor & greet Hon. Eduardo R. Gullas III as he celebrates his birthday today.
• Passing & approval of an Ordinance authored by Hon. Atty. Marc Arthur "Rocky" Bas, granting cash incentives to Bar Examinations Passers residing in Talisay City, Cebu. The said ordinance aims to recognize pure Talisaynons who have successfully passed the hardest examination in the Philippines which is the Bar Examinations.
• Other priority legislative action and measures were all approved by the Sanggunian members in today's session to provide the basic needs and services to all Talisaynons.

Snippets of the 61st Regular Session of the 8th Sangguniang Panlungsod held today, October 3, 2023.

In today's session, priority legislative action and measures were all approved by the Sanggunian members to provide the basic needs and services to all Talisaynons.

Look: Hon. Eduardo R. Gullas III presided over the 60th Regular Session of the 8th Sangguniang Panlungsod held today, September 26, 2023.

Highlights:
• Two newly accredited organization of the city, Aulan Residents Multi-Purpose Association for Progress Incorporates (ARMAPI) and Lawaan 1-Linao Tricycle Operators and Drivers Association (LALITODA) were presented during the session and given with their Certificate of Accreditation and the resolution supporting their accreditation authored by Hon. Ferdinand L. Rabaya.
• Other legislative action and measures were also approved in today's session to better serve all Talisaynons.

In today's caucus, a quick visit was made by one of our own aspiring taekwondo athlete, Mr. Gil Miks Candralo announcing his upcoming competition in the 2023 National Interschool Taekwondo Championships which will be held from Sept. 30 - Oct. 1, 2023 at Ayala Mall Manila.
He is one of our Talisay City representative joining the competition ,thus full support was given by the Sanggunian Panlungsod as he competes with other schools.

Highlights:
• Approval of the resolution authored by Hon. Rodolfo Cabigas, Resolution extending profound congratulations to Mr. Matthew Justine Hermosa and Ms. Raven Faith Alcoseba for winning the Gold Medal during the 5150 Triathlon held in Dapitan City, Zamboanga Del Norte last September 10, 2023.
• Various legislative action and measures were also approved in today's session to better serve all Talisaynons.
