The efforts have been marked by robust operations and significant arrests, demonstrating a strong commitment to enhancing public safety and upholding the law.

Illegal Drugs Operations:
• Operations Conducted: 65
• Drug Suspects Arrested: 115

The focus on combating illegal drug activities has been a cornerstone of the station's strategy. A total of 65 operations were carried out, resulting in the arrest of 115 individuals involved in drug-related offenses. This aggressive approach aims to dismantle drug networks and reduce the impact of illegal substances in the community.

Illegal Gambling:
• Operations Conducted: 49
• Gambling Suspects Arrested: 101

In the realm of illegal gambling, the station executed 49 operations, leading to the arrest of 101 individuals. These actions have targeted unregulated gambling activities, helping to curb illegal betting operations that contribute to various forms of criminal activity.

Loose Firearms:
• Arrests Made: 45
• Firearms Accounted For: 31

Addressing the issue of loose firearms, the police station made 45 arrests and successfully accounted for 31 firearms. This initiative is crucial in reducing the number of unregistered and potentially dangerous weapons in circulation, thereby enhancing community safety.

Warrant Service:
• Warrants Served: 31

In addition to the aforementioned accomplishments, the station executed 31 warrants, demonstrating an effective approach in enforcing judicial orders and ensuring that individuals with outstanding legal issues are held accountable.

TALISAY CITY POLICE SEIZES P6.1-M WORTH OF SHABU, ARRESTS FEMALE DRUG SUSPECT IN A DRUG STING

As a result of a week-long undercover police investigation, law enforcement operatives confiscated illegal drugs valued at PhP6.1 million in Talisay City on the evening of July 26, said PRO7.

The seizure was made by the Drug Enforcement Unit of Talisay City Police Station, leading to the apprehension of a 33-year-old female high-profile drug suspect at Sacred Heart Village in Brgy, San Isidro, Talisay City.

According to reports, the suspect had been involved in illegal drug activities since the beginning of the year, operating in conjunction with her cohorts. She manages remittances and balances, while her partner arranged the distribution of illegal drugs. She is entrusted with 1 to 2 kilos of illegal drugs, and the suspect was capable of disposing of up to kilos of shabu per week, covering various areas in Talisay City and parts of Cebu City.

Following a report from an informant regarding illegal drugs activities, the suspect was placed under surveillance for a week before police operatives conducted an operation resulting in her arrest.

During the arrest, 900 grams of shabu with a standard drug price value of PhP6,120,000 were confiscated from the suspect, along with a backpack, a mobile phone, cash, and a plastic container.

PBGen Anthony Aberin, PRO7 Regional Director, commended this effective campaign against illegal drugs by the Talisay City Police Station, in collaboration with the LGU in Talisay City.

"We are committed to working with local government and other law enforcement agencies to end the drug menace and bring offenders to justice. Our goal is to end illegal drugs in Central Visayas," he added.

The suspect was taken into custody while documents were prepared for the filing of appropriate charges for violation of sections 5 and 11 of Republic Act 9165.

PRO-7 RECEIVES 85% PUBLIC TRUST RATING

LOOK: PRO-7 Spokesperson PLTCOL. Gerard Ace Pelare announced that they have received 85% trust rating from the public, a product of a conscious effort to gain trust from the community.

“Our edge in Central Visayas is we are enjoying enormous public support,” said Pelare.

He also emphasized that with the leadership of PRO-7 Regional Director Anthony Aberin, obsolete police operations are no longer used.

TALISAY POLICE SCORES ANEW IN RECENT SACLEO OPERATIONS, SEIZES PHP 12.2M WORTH OF ILLEGAL DRUGS; APPREHENDED 2 FOR SERVICE OF WARRANT, PLUS 1 INDIVIDUAL FOR LOOSE FIREARM

The City of Talisay Police Station has achieved a major breakthrough in its efforts to combat criminal activities with the successful execution of the Simultaneous Anti Criminality Law Enforcement Operations (SACLEO) from July 19-22, 2024.

During the operations, law enforcement efforts resulted in the seizure of a total of 1,796 grams of white crystalline substance suspected to be illegal drugs across six separate operations. The estimated street value of the confiscated drugs is Php 12,213,820.00. This accomplishment represents a significant blow to drug trafficking within Talisay City, contributing to the reduction of drug-related crimes in the area.

In addition to combating the drug trade, the Talisay police also made notable progress in other law enforcement initiatives. One individual was apprehended for possession of firearms without proper documentation, further enhancing public safety. Additionally, two individuals were arrested in accordance with outstanding warrants.

OPLAN LIMPYO TALISAY’S DRUG HAUL SEIZES TEN (10) MILLION WORTH OF ILLEGAL DRUGS IN LATEST OPERATION

Talisay City, Cebu – The City of Talisay Police Station, through its OPLAN Limpyo Talisay, achieved a significant milestone in its fight against illegal drugs with the successful seizure of Php 10,200,000.00 worth of illegal substances from a 22-year-old woman identified as a High Value Individual.

The operation, executed through a meticulously planned buy-bust operation in Sitio Hawud, Barangay Bulacao, Talisay City, led to the apprehension of the suspect following prior intelligence reports of her illicit activities. The suspect was apprehended while in the act of selling illegal drugs to an undercover police officer.

The police officers confiscated a total of 1,500 grams of a white crystalline substance with an estimated street value of Php 10,200,000.00.

The suspect is currently under custody at the City of Talisay Police Station's detention facility, awaiting formal charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

In a firm statement, PLTCOL EPREAM G. PAGUYOD urged all individuals involved in illegal drug activities within Talisay City to desist immediately. "I call upon all drug players in the city to surrender or cease your illegal activities. Otherwise, the Talisay police force will relentlessly pursue and apprehend you. There is no place for drug offenders in our community," emphasized PLTCOL PAGUYOD.

This operation highlights the ongoing efforts of local law enforcement agencies in Talisay City to combat the proliferation of illegal drugs and maintain peace and order in the community.

TALISAY POLICE SCORES BIG IN RECENT SACLEO OPERATIONS, SEIZES PHP 7.5M WORTH OF ILLEGAL DRUG; ARRESTED 3 IN ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF FIREARMS AND 2 MORE FOR SERVICE OF WARRANT, PLUS 77 INDIVIDUALS APPREHENDED FOR LOCAL ORDINANCES

The City of Talisay Police Station has achieved significant success in the recent Simultaneous Anti Criminality Law Enforcement Operations (SACLEO), held from July 5-7, 2024.

During the operations, a total of 1,115 grams of white crystalline substance believed to be illegal drugs were seized in four separate operations. The estimated street value of the confiscated drugs is Php 7,582,000. This successful intervention marks a notable achievement for the Talisay police in reducing the drug supply within the city and subsequently curtailing drug-related crimes.

In addition to the anti-drug efforts, the Talisay police also made strides in other law enforcement campaigns. One individual was apprehended for engaging in illegal gambling activities. Furthermore, three individuals were arrested for possessing firearms without proper documentation. On the hand, two were arrested in the service of warrant.

The police also diligently enforced local ordinances aimed at maintaining public order. Seventy-seven individuals were issued traffic citation tickets, and several others were apprehended for public drinking, indecent exposure, and violating curfew hours.

DRUG STING OPERATION OF TALISAY APPREHENDED A HIGH VALUE INDIVIDUAL AND ONE OTHER DRUG PEDDLER

In a recent operation conducted by the City of Talisay Police Station, a significant arrest was made targeting illegal drug activities in Purok Malipayon, Barangay Biasong, Talisay City on June 27, 2024.

The operation resulted in the apprehension of two individuals: a 44-year-old High Value Individual (HVI) and a 34-year-old e-bike driver, both suspected of involvement in illegal drug trafficking.

Police seized approximately 50 grams of a white crystalline substance with an estimated street value of Php 340,000.00.

This seizure underscores the seriousness of the illegal drug trade in the area and the efforts to combat it.

The arrest followed a thorough validation of the suspects' illegal activities, after which police operatives swiftly acted to prevent further harm to the community. The suspects are now detained at the Talisay City Custodial Facility and will face charges under the Comprehensive Drugs Act of 2002.
