"The main event of the celebration of the solemnity in the Parish of St. Francis of Assisi in Talisay, Camarines Norte was the Solemn Procession of the Blessed Sacrament starting from the Parish Church and passing through the major streets of the town. There were four Kubols or tents where people offered their gifts for the poor. There was a short heavy downpour but the faithful stayed on." (ctto)

In the vibrant tapestry of our PYM Community, the youth integrates a special and momentous event. They are filled with a special energy, enthusiasm, and desire to change themselves. And so, as the calendar turned to July, the St. Francis of Assisi Parish embarked on a journey to empower and engage our remarkable youth members in an activity that speaks to their spirit.

On a bright Saturday, last July 1, 2023, our parish youth members came together at the Pineapple Island Resort to finally open the Diocesan Youth Month with the shimmering waters of the resort's sparkling pool serving as our backdrop. The opening of Diocesan Youth Month at Pineapple Island Resort was just the beginning of what promises to be a transformative journey for our youth.

Our youth members seized the chance to spend a day immersed in the water and participating in numerous recreational activities, and laughter and joy flooded the atmosphere as a result. Whether participating in friendly swimming competitions or group activities that promoted cohesion and cooperation. Under the warm July sun, friendships were forged, and bonds of community strengthened.

Therefore, let us keep the spirit of St. Francis inside us during Diocesan Youth Month and beyond as we think back on the happiness and enthusiasm that filled our hearts. May our young people, motivated by the timeless principles of love, compassion, and respect for all of God's creation, continue to be the light of hope and the engine of constructive change.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude and appreciation to each and every one of you for coming to the Parish Youth Gathering on June 10, 2023. Everyone who took part in the event benefited greatly from your enthusiastic engagement and participation throughout. Despite the difficulties and differences that may exist between us, it was truly inspiring to see young people from various barangays come together in fellowship, friendship, and faith.

Your presence and zeal demonstrated to us that we can still draw strength and support from one another in the face of adversity. Your enthusiasm and spirit were evident in all of the events, including the talks, workshops, and team-building activities. We received helpful insights and ideas from your thoughtful queries, perceptive reflections, and constructive criticism that we will use to enhance upcoming activities and initiatives.

We appreciate the time and effort you invested in coming to the event, getting ready for the activities, and taking full advantage of everything that was provided. We hope that you left the event feeling inspired, energized, and enriched because your presence brought joy, energy, and inspiration to everyone present.
