Pizza Marinara is not about seafoods, it refers to the history where it derives the name from the Marinaio ( Seafarers ) in Naples, they create this sauce made with tomato sauce, garlic and oregano to preserve along the navigation.

“Spaghetto Quadrato alle vongole”
One of famous first dish in Neapolitan cuisine like as many other seafood specialty of Naples. The spaghetti pasta shall be “al dente” sauté in Vongole ( Clams) to “mantecare” creating this creamy sauce. The original version is white and the other version is red ( cherry tomatoes).

A Neapolitan pastry origins between Furore and Conca dei Marini, on the Amalfi Coast, about 4 centuries ago (in the 1600s), precisely in the convent of Santa Rosa, inhabited by cloistered nuns ( monache di clausura) . This pastry was created to those old people who can’t bite.
It is thinly layered pastry with ricotta, semolina and orange canditi , the original flavor.
