We’re conducting a thesis titled "Challenging the Norms: A Study on Atheists' Prosocial Behavior Amidst Stereotypical Stigmas"—and we need YOUR insights!

In line with the required undergraduate thesis for BS Psychology, Mark Jeuz Exconde, Romar Lambot, and Rishi Mae Manay are on their way to conducting their data-gathering for their study.

Their study aims to visit the often disregarded issue of heteros*xism, commonly known as homophobia, and how it is experienced and managed by the Aged G**s in the Philippines.

Below are the identifying information for their ideal participants:

1. Must be a 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝗮𝘀 𝗚𝗮𝘆 regardless of Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, or Gender Expression
2. Must be 𝟲𝟬 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘃𝗲

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to John Henry De Leon and Kayla Mariz Flores for their remarkable representation of FAIPS at the Braverites event on August 24, 2024. Their unwavering dedication and commitment truly reflect the core values of our institution. We are especially proud of Henry for making it to the Top 5 finalists and receiving the Best in Formal Attire.

During the Top 5 segment, Henry shared his insightful perspective: "As a psychology student,I believe that we all have one mind but different thoughts." He continued, "Para sa sikolohiyang makatao, mapagpalaya at matatag, I believe that s*x is nothing but a concept." His words highlight the importance of an inclusive and humanistic approach to psychology.

We also want to highlight Kayla's dedication and hard work, which culminated in a wonderful performance. Her efforts and talents have made a lasting impression on us all.

Carl Rogers once said, "The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change." Henry and Kayla’s journey exemplifies this truth—their success stems from embracing their true selves and striving to excel. We are deeply grateful for their contributions and honored to celebrate their achievements. Kayla and Henry, our princess and prince of light, continue to make us proud.

With the theme "Project Genesis: Here I am, Here I remain," mark the welcome of all the froshies in FAITH Colleges. The event included the embarkment of froshies in their initiation, followed by the dazzling segment of Mr. and Ms. Froshie, and concluding the day with the welcoming bash party.

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth—but that is not the kind of story I will be telling. It is a story about a century long wait for words to dance with elegance. A league of great writers that may have been prayed to the heavens yet existed because of a single ambition.

A river made out of poetry, an ocean of short stories. The golden years of literature in José Rizal University was finally witnessed and it is just getting started. Because of the triumph of The Crescendo in providing uncontested creative writing, I wish to give the Rizalian Community a final gift—a legacy building tradition known as 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐋𝐄 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 where every Chief Literary Editor carry the weight of writing something political, societal and exceptional, maintaining the literary mastery of its members at the same time, collaborating with organizations who share the same goal of creating something impactful. New faces, new people, different emotions in the air here in In-Psych Out!

The FAITH Psychology Society celebrated the arrival of the froshies and their meet and greet with each other as well as with their upperclassmen this August 8, 2024.

With the organization's theme "In-Psych Out" the Multi-Purpose Hall was filled with different emotions as the students enjoyed the activities prepared by the society. Different committees were also introduced where they built booths showcasing not just their specializations but also their assigned emotions. Together with this general assembly and welcoming of the froshies, the election for the 1st Year Representative was also held.

As the new academic year approaches, let us all have fun, learn and express our emotions!

Enjoying yourselves this summer? Well, to make this school year even more fun, the new set of FAITH Psychology Society officers have held an annual planning from July 9, 2024 to July 11, 2024 in preparation for the upcoming Academic Year.

This annual planning consists of preparation for the organization's fun-filled activities and events that will certainly nurture the students. With the help of the officers and members, FAIPS aims to sustain and even enhance the last year's activities and events.

The week-long planning was led by the new FAIPS President, Jefrene Margareth A. Pulido, and officers together with the committee heads Ms. Benlene Llantero, Sir Jeric Gaspar, Ms. Johanna Abadicio, and Ms. Pauline Abenir (Dept Chair).
