𝑳𝑶𝑶𝑲: The Camiling Philippines Stake embarked on the service through participating in the 2024 Brigada Eskwela to different Primary and Secondary Schools at Camiling, Tarlac last July 22, 2024. It was indeed a great opportunity to serve the rising generation and the community as we are about to start a new happy school year.

On July 14, 1991, the Camiling Philippines Stake is created, with Celso Nicolas called as stake president.

You are called to teach the restored gospel of Jesus Christ to as many people as will receive you. Teaching is central to everything you do. As you rely on the Lord for help, He has promised:

“And whoso receiveth you, there I will be also, for I will go before your face. I will be on your right hand and on your left, and my Spirit shall be in your hearts, and mine angels round about you, to bear you up” (Doctrine and Covenants 84:88).

One of the great values of the temple experience is that it presents the broad, sweeping panorama of God’s purposes relating to this earth. Once we have been through the temple (and we can return and refresh our memories) the events of life fit into the scheme of things. We can see in perspective where we are, and we can quickly see when we are off course.

𝑲𝒂𝒈𝒂𝒚-𝒂𝒏𝒐𝒏𝒔 𝒓𝒆𝒋𝒐𝒊𝒄𝒆!

More than six years after President Russell M. Nelson's announcement, the construction of the Cagayan de Oro Philippines Temple will officially commence with the groundbreaking ceremony on August 31, 2024!

𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐀𝐂𝐔𝐋𝐀𝐑 | The event hall was flooded with talents as the rising generation showcased theirs during the spectacular night. The atmosphere was full of fun and excitement as the acting, groove, and melody flowed along. A good end for their second day indeed.

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 | As part of their 3-day activity, during the day 2, a mini Missionary Training Center (MTC) was organized for the rising generation. During the activity, there were returned missionaries from Camiling Stake who took the role of being an MTC teacher. Participants wore their hand-made missionary tags to feel more of being a missionary. It was a great experience for them as they prepare to be a full-time missionary someday.

𝐄𝐍𝐄𝐑𝐆𝐈𝐙𝐄𝐃 | The rising generation was enlightened and energized as they have their stake seminary class with their ever-supportive Seminary and Institute Coordinator, Brother Noel T. Batac. It was indeed a memorable day as they bagged knowledge and reminded them how important knowing God is and how He loves us all.

𝐅𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐀𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐂 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐓 | A workshop from Brother Ezra Ligan and Sister Mara Elena Ligan about the Youth Development Program was a fantasticstart for day 2 of this year's SYC. It was an informative workshop wherein the rising generation of Camiling Stake bagged ideas on developing themselves spiritually, socially, physically, and intellectually.

All were amazed as they witnessed a wonderful musical parable of the Ensign Chorus of Zamboanga Philippines Stake entitled The Ten Virgins. The event was organized by Sister Sharon Pagarigan and attended by members and friends of Camiling Stake and other stakes. It was indeed a wonderful experience hearing angelic voices and being reminded of how God loves each and every one of us.

𝐇𝐄𝐄 𝐇𝐀𝐖! A memorable night to all participants wearing their rodeo outfits that made them shine while grooving during their social night.

𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐀 𝐁𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐓 | There were 14 stations of games and activities facilitated by unit leaders and led by Camiling 5th ward and Cabaluyan Ward. Activities and games were played by 28 groups with unity and great strategy.

𝐆𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐓 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐓 | The first day was started with a fun registration and orientation where participants showcased their talents and met their group mates. Later in the afternoon, Emotional Resilience workshop with Sister Nercel Cortez, Family Services Specialist was conducted by Camiling 4th Branch as the second part of the 3-day activity.

𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐍𝐎𝐖: The 2024 Stake Youth Conference (SYC) of Camiling started today, June 12, 2024, at Cozy Resort, Rosales, Pangasinan. The 3-day SYC was attended by 235 participants from different units of Camiling Stake. The said event will last until Friday, June 14, 2024. The leaders prepared many fun and exciting activities for the youth, so stay tuned for more.

Another successful Child and Nutrition Program for the second time last May 11 at Romulo Chapel led by the stake Self Reliance leaders. 🙌🏼
