Before I enrolled, I was doubtful of what I would really want to become. I was doubtful of how my family could afford to pay for my tuition fees. With PHINMA, all those doubts turned into dreams. Dreams that I was able to reach! PHINMA has helped me become a better me. They offer scholarships that have helped my family to dream bigger for me. I met friends whom I have the same interest in and of course, with the quality education that is offered. I have learned a lot of things that would help me in the future to reach my goal of becoming a professional Teacher.

People might notice that I went back to school late, but that doesn't stop me to keep going. PHINMA Ed is generous enough to accept me and believes that learning shouldn't stop because of your age, poverty, or health issues. They believe that there's a silver lining in each individual, who is persistent to make a change for the better. Though I must say that this past few years, I have had a lot of breakdowns and it affects my mental health. PHINMA ED is there, willing to extend their hands to help me, who are true to their words na "sasamahan kita". I found a friend in them through CSDL who offers to counsel when you feel doubtful and carry a confused heart., I also felt the outmost gratitude to my approachable dean, Sir Lyan. who guide us in every single way and of course my considerate teachers who impart not just only knowledge but also values. I owe them big time especially when money is tight and I asked them to take a special exam because I paid my tuition fee late. I also made a lot of friends, and it makes me happy that they treated me with respect, like their older sister.
It shows beyond doubt that during these heavy times learning is still available even if you are in the comfort of your home through the flexible learning setup that my University renders.

So a piece of cake to my fellow students who I share a same dilemma with.
Learning should not stop because we have these storms in life. We are our own hero, struggles and circumstances is our battleground. We have to be a warrior of hope for ourselves, for our family and to the next generation. So instead of complaining to God how big our problem is, change our mindset to " Hey problem, we have a big God, and everything will be alright". PADAYON KITA TANAN!

In so many aspects, PHINMA Ed has huge impact on me. Especially when it comes to my studies it helps me to develop and nurture my skills, not just only in the field of studies but also in elevating my own self. Before I was just a typical student who is full of dreams and passion in life but now I'm not just only a student but a person who's capable to stand out without dragging anyone else down

PHINMAED shape and mold me to be a better version of myself. Sinamahan ako ng Phinmaed sa aking pangarap at sinasamahan sa araw-araw na pamumuhay. Malaking tulong na mapabahagi sa scholar ng HK sapagkat ito ay nagbigay ng pag-asa upang maipagpatuloy ko ang aking kolehiyo at makapagtapos. To be a 2nd year COED student of PHINMAED is a privilege for me to maximize my talents, skills and critical thinking.

The Bachelor in Secondary Education is an undergraduate Teacher Education Program designed to equip learners with adequate and relevant competencies to teach English as their area of specialization in the secondary level.

They accompanied me through the process of molding or shaping my abilities, talents, skills, and knowledge. Then with HK Scholarship, I availed discounts to make my tuition less expensive and continue my education without a financial problem. This scholarship is not just only a scholarship but also a way to hone your capabilities by practicing working in an office by rendering a duty as a student assistant. The development within myself shows that I have achieved the success to reach my goals and dreams in life as a student. Therefore, PHINMAED touched my life especially in achieving my dreams through learning, experiences, scholarship, and good quality education.
