Don't throw those leaves yet!

A leaf mold is basically composted leaves. So if you have trees, you can create a leaf mold from dried leaves in an open or close pile, depending on your preference, much like you would in making regular compost. It takes about 6-12 months to have fully composted leaves or leaf molds.

Sana ay nasa mabuti kayong kalagayan, gayundin ang inyong mga halaman. 😉

Pasensya na po sa mga hindi namin kaagad nasagot na mga messages and chats, sa mga halaman na napurnada na ipadala. Nito po kasing nakaraang mga araw ay nag-positive po kami sa COVID kaya kailangan po muna naming magpagaling at magpahinga. Ito rin po ang dahilan kung bakit hindi kami nakakapag-live.

Sa ngayon po ay naka-quarantine pa rin kami pero pabuti na po ang aming kalagayan. Salamat po sa aming mga suki na nag-message at nanalangin para sa aming kagalingan. Kay Ma'am Jo Ignacio na nagpadala ng merienda dito sa amin at sa iba pa naming mga suki na concerned, nagpapayo kung anong gagawin at kung anong gamot ang iinumin.

Babalik po kami sa pagla-live. Sa ngayon po, abangan po ninyo muna ang mga halaman na ipo-post namin dito sa page.

Madalas nating naririnig ang mga salitang
"Acclimated na po ito" or
"Very well-acclimated na ito dito sa lugar natin"
sa mga posts man or live-selling.

Pero ano nga ba ang ibig sabihin nito? Tamang gamitin ang salitang ito para sa mga halaman na inilipat sa bagong environment. Halimbawa, kung ang halaman mo ay galing sa malamig na klima, pagkatapos ay dinala sa lugar na may-kainitan, malaking adjustment ito para sa iyong halaman. Applicable rin ito kapag mayroong changes sa klase ng lupa, humidity, at marami pang iba.

Masasabi mo namang "acclimated" na ang iyong halaman kapag maayos na itong nagpo-produce ng bagong leaves, lumalaki ng tama at maayos sa kanyang bagong environment.

Hindi madaling magpa-acclimate ng halaman, kailangan mo itong tutukan upang matulungan mo itong mag-adjust sa kanyang paligid dahil maraming pagbabago ang nangyayari dito, kahit papaano, kailangan mong gayahin ang environment kung saan siya originally nanggaling. Kung hindi naging successful ang acclimation, maaring hindi ito lumaki ng maayos, magkaroon ng discoloration, paninilaw, pagkabulok, o mamatay ang halaman.

Here's an easy solution to Powdery Mildew problem.

Powdery mildew looks like white, powdery mold or pustules on the surface of leaves. Infected leaves of crops turn yellow, wither, and die. Use a homemade baking soda spray as a remedy. Make sure to test on a small area first to see if it won’t damage your crop.
