Ferino's Bibingka has been around in Visaya's ave. Q. C., since 1993, and we have many anecdotes especially during Christmas season.

There was this middle age guy who was waiting for his bibingka when the service crew noticed the person was misty-eyed while looking at the menu. The crew ventured to ask the person " Sir, Ok po ba kayo?" The amiable looking guy smiled and answered, " naalala ko lang yung lolo ko, madalas kasi niya ako sina sama pag bumibili siya ng bibingkasa Manila Hotel noong bata pa ako. " Asan po lolo nyo? asked the crew. Nasa sa States na siya, doon na siya nakatira"answered the amiable guy, "namimiss ko kasi lolo ko"

There was this customer who is in early thirties who ordered 2 bibingka "extra". The customer has to wait for his order because he want it "oven hot". While watching his order being cooked, he told the cook that he is from marikina and that he often give his mother bibingka as "pasalub**g". He even said that his mother is very fond of bibingka. But that time, he forgot to drop by at Visaya's Ave. on his way home to marikina. So he just bought some bibingka along the way. When he gave his pasalub**g. His mother got upset and told his son that he cannot fool his mother because she knows if the bibingka came from " Ferinos". So he has to drive from Marikina all the way to Visayas's Ave. just to please his mother.
