Face-to-face classes across all levels in the abovementioned campuses will be suspended on September 6th. Students will attend their online synchronous classes from their respective homes.

All offices will be fully operational.

The suspension of in-person classes is a preemptive measure against the continuing onslaught of monsoon rains and typhoon Enteng.

Through the said orientation sessions, OLFU’s SY 2024-2025 officially commenced. The new batch of Fatimanians learned about the ins and outs of the University; what the new school year has to offer; the variety of student services and learning resources available; and a few reminders & helpful information about classes and activities.

Spearheaded by OLFU's Center for Guidance Services (CGS), the orientation series began last 06 August 2024 and its last leg will be on 23 September 2024.

OLFU opens an opportunity for its students by partnering with German company, Pro Civitate Group!

Through EDI-Staffbuilders International Inc., the country’s largest overseas recruitment company and the Philippine partner of Pro Civitate, OLFU continues to strengthen its global arm.

On 27 August 2024, a MOU signing ceremony between the OLFU and Pro Civitate with EDI-Staffbuilders was held at the OLFU RISE Tower. This collaboration paves the way for initiatives in education and cultural exchange.

From German language training, and student and staff exchange programs, to collaborative projects, this partnership is set to provide OLFU students and alumni opportunities in their careers abroad.

Pro Civitate Group is a healthcare provider operating 25 facilities across four states in Germany. They offer a range of healthcare and nursing services, including elderly care, and disabled assistance.

Face-to-face classes will remain suspended across all levels at these campuses on September 5th.

That said, be guided by the following:

1. OLFU Antipolo | OLFU Pampanga-
All students of these campuses will, instead, shift to online synchronous classes.

2. OLFU Valenzuela-
Students from Preschool to SHS levels will shift to asynchronous activities. Check Canvas for tasks from teachers. Work on homework, reviewing, research, writing papers, or projects.

On the other hand, students from College and Post-Graduate levels will shift to online synchronous classes.

For the afternoon session today, September 4th, Senior High School students of OLFU Laguna will be staying home for online synchronous classes. On the other hand, College students will continue face-to-face classes on campus today.

The announcement above is in line with the latest directive from the City Government of Santa Rosa.

All offices at OLFU Laguna remain open to serve.

2. For the Valenzuela Campus

Preschool to SHS Levels- Based on a Yellow Rainfall Warning, the city ordinance prescribes suspension of F2F and online synchronous classes for these students. Instead, these learners will shift to asynchronous activities. Check Canvas for tasks assigned by teacher. Work on homework, research, reviewing, or projects.

College and Post-Graduate Levels-
These students will shift to online synchronous classes.

Following declarations made by local government units, please be advised that face-to-face classes across all levels will be suspended at OLFU's campuses in Quezon City, Valenzuela, Pampanga, Antipolo, and Laguna on September 2nd.

VALENZUELA Campus:
In line with the Automatic Class Suspension Ordinance of Valenzuela City (Ordinance #1175, series of 2024) and the latest Orange Rainfall Warning, classes (F2F and online synchronous) across all levels are hereby suspended. All students will shift, instead, to asynchronous activities (check Canvas for tasks from advisers, do homework, review notes, do research, or work on projects).

QUEZON CITY, ANTIPOLO, PAMPANGA, and LAGUNA Campuses:
Students across all levels will shift to online synchronous classes.

Funded by the Research Development and Innovation Center (RDIC), the research entitled "𝘘𝘶𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘰𝘧 𝘏𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘐𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘰𝘧 𝘏𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘦-𝘍𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘉𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘢 𝘪𝘯 𝘉𝘶𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘵 𝘛𝘶𝘯𝘢" by BS Biology alumni: Sophia Delos Santos, Jamil Allen Fortaleza, Gelian Bastian, El-jay Managuelod, Jimson Deyta, and Daniel Lance Nevado is garnering recognition and is now set to be published.

Under the guidance of their research advisor Rener De Jesus, with leadership from Dr. Ramonita Salazar, OLFU Quezon City Campus Administrator, and support from Zandra Tolentino-Salut, Program Head of the Biology Department, the research represents a significant contribution to the ongoing discussion on this topic.

In accordance with Republic Act No. 7596, the 2nd of September of every year celebrates Nueva Ecija Day and, thus, declared as a Special Non-working Holiday in the said province.

In line with this, note that synchronous classes (in-person and online) and asynchronous activities in OLFU Nueva Ecija are hereby suspended on September 2, 2024.

On the other hand, to accommodate transactions, inquiries, and other concerns, the offices of the Registrar, Student Financial Services (SFS), and Admissions will remain open on this day.

Get healthier with OLFU’s sports facilities!

OLFU students, employees, alumni, student organizations, and even outsiders may utilize the University’s sports facilities for academic and non-academic events/activities.

The recreational facilities such as the gym, track, pool, and basketball court—are within reach for everyone interested.

Note: Rental of OLFU’s Sports Facilities is subject to approval. Ask the campus' Student Financial Services about rental rates.

The Webometrics Ranking, which began in 2004 (now in its 21st year of publication), aims to provide comprehensive coverage of higher education institutions, regardless of country or discipline. Currently, it ranks 32,000 higher education institutions from more than 200 countries.

Primer Group of Companies, a leader in retail operations, collaborates with OLFU to launch a comprehensive internship program! This alliance was formalized through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) Signing Ceremony held on August 22, 2024, at Le Monet Cafe, SLH Building, Valenzuela Campus.

Through this collaboration, 35 College of Business and Accountancy (CBA) students will gain real-world experience across Primer’s different store brands in Metro Manila and other areas in the northern NCR, with benefits including tuition support, allowances, employment opportunities, and more.
