The highest court of the land has ruled in favor of architects in the long-standing dispute with civil engineers over the authority to prepare, sign, and seal architectural documents for building construction. The court declared that only licensed and registered architects have the exclusive right to do so, and that the 2004 Revised IRR of the National Building Code are valid and constitutional.
