They are reigned as Champions for this year's Battle of the Nightingales held at KCC Eastwing on August 8, 2024. Headed by their hands-on coach, Maam Murada Ismael and the support of our CN Dean, Mr. Hashim Alawi and the rest of the Faculty.

As the school year begins, the CN-CRCYC, together with the different College of Nursing Organizations welcomed the new generation of Nursing Mavens with excitement and cheer last August 5, 2024.

Additionally, they were introduced to different parts of the university through the guided campus tour led by their trusted seniors😎, giving them a glimpse of their future days ahead in their new home.

We hope that the buzz and energy from this day will not fade away. We are grateful for your enthusiasm and curiosity, freshies!❤️

As enrollment season enters its second week, CN-CRCYC continues to welcome our maven heroes in the Red Cross community. We are glad to see new and old members ready to be a part of the organization.👋

Last week marks the start of WMSU-CRCYC's organization and MAAB Fee collection. It was exciting to see upcoming Maven freshies come together and share their enthusiasm for the organization💖.

The WMSU-CN CRCYC has been quite busy this summer.🤩

On June 4-5, the WMSU CN Faculty along with the CN Red Cross Youth Council Volunteers conducted a Health and Emergency Care Seminar specifically, at the Naval Station Rio Hondo, Zamboanga City. Imparting their knowledge on First Aid and Basic Life Support, HIV awareness, hypertension, bleeding, shock and other different health and emergency situations with the active participation of the Marine Battalion Landing Team-11 (MBLT-11) personnel with the aim to enhance their health and emergency preparedness.

On June 24-28, 2024, a similar activity was organized at the CN AVR, which guided the Sta. Cruz Island People’s Organization in their 5-day Training by equipping their members with essential skills in First Aid, Basic Life Support, and other techniques with the aim to address the limited access to healthcare on the island.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the CN Faculty, Philippine Marine Corps MBLT-11, DOST IX CEST, and Sta. Cruz Island People's Organization for their initiative and partnership. To all participants for their enthusiasm and commitment. Together, we strive in making the community safer and more prepared for emergencies

💉🩸World Blood Donor Day (WBDD), celebrated annually on June 14, aims to raise awareness about the critical need for safe blood and blood products, and to thank voluntary, unpaid blood donors for their life-saving gifts.

🎉Today, we commemorate the successful celebration of WBDD which was spearheaded by the National Voluntary Services Program of Zamboanga City: Philippine Red Cross, the Department of Health Zamboanga Peninsula Center for Health Development, and the Zamboanga City Medical Center with the presence of our very own Dean of the College of Nursing Asso. Prof. Hashim N. Alawi Jr. and WMSU CN CRCYC Moderator Mrs. Linnea May D. Gonzales held at Activity Area, East Wing KCC Mall, Zamboanga City.
