๐€๐๐๐Ž๐”๐๐‚๐„๐Œ๐„๐๐“| THE ONLINE APPLICATION FOR COLLEGE ENTRANCE TEST (CET) IN R.T.LIM EXTENSION IS NOW OPEN!

REQUIREMENTS:
1.Dully Accomplished Application Form;
2.Certification from High School Principal if Grade 12 student/Diploma/ Grade Card if a Senior High School graduate, with no college background;
3.Student School ID Card; and
4.2"ร—2" ID picture with white background (clear and appropriate)

INSTRUCTIONS:
1.Scan all your documents (crop the 2โ€x2โ€ ID picture) and save in your USB/file for an online registration.
2.Go to the provided link and choose โ€œMSU-Buugโ€ as your preferred campus and click 76-B Surabay National High School as a Testing Center.
3.Make sure to fill in all the required information and double check if it is COMPLETE, CORRECT, and ACCURATE.
4.The Application receipt will be received thru email after the successful application. Print and bring your receipt on examination day.

REMINDERS:
1.Any wrong or incomplete entry can result in disqualification either in taking the exam or in the admission phase.
2.Application forms with unfilled blanks will be rejected automatically. OVPAA/ MSU-CET Unit does not make any changes to the submitted information nor your CET Report of Rating, so review your form well.
3.All requirements must be uploaded not later than May 23, 2024. No Application Form will be accepted beyond this deadline.
4. No onsite application will be allowed during the examination day.
5.MSU-CET is FREE. No Testing/Registration Fee shall be collected.

We are thrilled to announce the kick-off of our project, "Incentivizing Habitat Restoration Through Wealth Creation for Fisherfolk: A Triple-Bottom Line Approach," funded by BFAR Central Office through the Aquatic Wildlife Management Fund. Our esteemed partner institution, Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR IX) and Kapunungan Sa Gagmayโ€™ng Mangingisda Sa Concepcion (KGMC) joins hands with Mindanao State University โ€“ Buug to make this initiative a reality.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us at the First Meeting and Consolidation of Baseline Information on the Socio-economic and Resource Profile of Sibugay Bay in Zamboanga Sibugay yesterday, February 1, 2024 at Rodericโ€™s Hotel, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay. Sincere appreciation to the representatives from the Local Government Units (LGUs) of Tungawan, RT Lim, Ipil, Naga, Kabasalan, Siay and Payao. Your presence and valuable insights have set the foundation for the success of the first meeting.

๐Ÿ–‹๏ธ Prior to this, a momentous MOA signing took place on November 17, 2023, at the office of the Regional Director, BFAR 9, RT Lim Boulevard, Zamboanga City. On August 17, 2023, MSU-Naawan and MSU-Buug agreed to collaborate on a research project, through a Memorandum of Agreement, in support of the aquaculture sector, to increase the production and intensify initiatives on aquaculture for food security and income generation of fish farmers.

The project, "Utilization of Fruit Processing Waste as a source of prebiotics and immunostimulants for the development of healthy and improved aquaculture feeds", is a research project funded by DOST-PCAARRD.

With the MOA, MSU-Naawan will act as the project lead implementer, represented by Dr. Fiona L. Pedroso, a faculty member from the School of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources. MSU-Naawan will also supervise and implement activities as specified in the approved work and financial plan, provide technical advice, monitor and evaluate the project progress, and prepare technical papers for publication.

MSU-Buug also did a benchmarking activity on the BS Fisheries program of MSU-Naawan.
