Yesterday, the Caretaker Prime Minister visited LUMS, addressing the students and patiently taking their questions. Although he arrived slightly late, he maintained a polite demeanor throughout the session, responding to inquiries with logical explanations.

While it is commendable that a few students expressed their concerns and criticisms regarding certain policies, there were others who chose to denigrate the Caretaker PM for his tardiness, accusing him of wasting their time and displaying a lack of regard for education. Despite facing such criticisms, the Caretaker PM maintained his composure and even discussed the importance of anger management while calmly addressing their questions.

It is disheartening to witness the lack of respect shown by some students towards an individual, regardless of their position or background. Constructive criticism is valuable, but the manner in which it is delivered carries significant weight. As an esteemed institution, we expect better from the students of LUMS, who are known for their intellect and critical thinking.

Morovr, It is disappointing to observe on social media platforms like Twitter that certain individuals, including self-proclaimed political activists from various parties, are applauding the mockery of the Prime Minister, even when he is serving as a caretaker. It is essential to remember that regardless of personal biases or political affiliations, displaying respect for individuals in positions of authority is a sign of maturity and civility.

We should strive to uphold the values of intellectual discourse, empathy, and respectful engagement. It is through these qualities that we can contribute meaningfully to our society and foster an environment conducive to growth and progress.

The incident that happened at LUMS yesterday is a true depiction of where the damage has exactly been caused by this self proclaimed Political Mastermind, who should rather called as Mastermind of Chaos and Vengeance.
It's concerning to see how this political fervor has affected the behavior of students who may not even have fully grasped their subjects but they’re politically obsessed with him so much that they don’t accept anyone in that particular position if not Imran Khan.
This is alarming and those applauding and supporting these students need to introspect themselves as well to ensure there are no shortcomings in their upbringing as well.
