Punjab Information technology Board (eRozgaar, National Freelance Training Program| NFTP & Regional PLan 9) in collaboration with the Department of mathematics and Directorate of IT is going to Organize a joint awareness session in the Main auditorium, Baghdad Ul Jadeed Campus IUB Bahawalpur at 11:00 AM to 01:00 PM.
In this session, a brief discussion on the Importance of freelancing in today's Era, Digital skills, and how Ideas are being shaped into realities with the facilities available in the region will be highlighted. Representatives from eRozgaar & Plan9 and National Freelance Training Program will join the session and will briefly discuss how you can be a part of the digital world.

Study Skill Capacity Building Training (SSCBT) Department of Mathematics

Today 5th April 2022, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ghulam Mustafa Chairman, Department of Mathematics with Collaboration Executive Training Center (IUB) successfully completed Study Skill Capacity Building Training for newly inducted students of BS Mathematics. Prof. Dr. Ghulam Mustafa talks about the importance of training session. Dr. Muhammad Asghar is the focal person and trainer of this training session. Dr. Shafqat Ali Incharge Students Affairs Department also present in training session.

CONGRATULATION: Department of Mathematics The Islamia University of Bahawalpur got 2nd position in the Team Championship competition, 3rd position in a single Championship, and 5 prizes during the "7th Regional Students Mathematical Olympiad" organized by BZU Multan on 31/03/2022. Altogether 18 universities/colleges participated in this competition.

The 20 students of the Department of Mathematics, IUB participated in this Olympiad. The 2 focal persons (Dr. Muhammad Salman and Dr. Muhammad Asghar) and Prof. Dr. Ghulam Mustafa, the Chairman Department of Mathematics attended this competition.

The structure of the Olympiad consisted of 5 different types of mathematical games.

Alhamdolillah! IUB got the following successes in this mega event and got the maximum prizes as compared with every other institution. Details are given below:

1) IUB got 4 positions in Game-1 of the individual competition.

2) IUB got 3rd position in Game-2 of a single championship.

3) IUB got 5 prizes in Game-3 of the open house gala.

4) IUB got 2nd position in the Game-4 of the team championship.
