Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) is the first Open University in Asia. AIOU Gujrat Regional Each group of students is entrusted to a tutor for guidance.
The university has established more than 40 regional campuses and centers in various parts of the country to coordinate and facilitate decentralized system of education of the university. The regional directors keep a roster of qualified teachers and experts in each field of study in their area and enlist them as the university’s part-time tutors. قائم مقام وائس چانسلرعلامہ اقبال اوپن یونیورسٹی پروفیسر ڈاکٹر ناصر محمود کی خصوصی ہدایت پرطلبہ کورہائش گاہوں کے قریب ترین مقامات پر سہولت فراہم کرنے کے لئے ملک بھر میں علاقائی سطح پر سینکڑوں امتحانی مراکز قائم کردئیے گئے ہیں۔ وائس چانسلرکی مزید ہدایت کے مطابق امتحانات میں نقل کےرجحان کےخاتمے اور شفافیت کو یقینی بنانے کے لئے خصوصی کمیٹیاں قائم کردی گئی ہیں، موبائیل انسپکٹرز اور ریجنل ڈائریکٹرز دوران امتحانات، امتحانی مراکز کے دورے کریں گے جو طلبہ کے رول نمبر سلپس، شناختی کارڈز چیک کریں گے۔

ISLAMABAD: Allama Iqal Open University (AIOU) has announced that the exams of Matric, FA and teaching programs for autumn semester 2019 will be held from March 2, 2020.
The date sheet for exams has been placed on the University's official website.
The roll number slips and date-sheet of the exams have also been sent to the enrolled students on their postal address.
Over 850 exam centres were being set up at the nearest residence or work places of the students, in order to facilitate them in the examinations process.

The tutors already working for AIOU will also be required to apply for e-Registration through the notified process. The qualification and experience, prescribed and notified for the tutors will be strictly followed, as per the directives of the Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Zia-Ul-Qayyum.
Hence, Allama Iqbal Open University has started a fresh process of tutors registration across the country. Currently, there are around 40, 000 tutors all around the country for one six-month semester. Now, an E-registration process has been set in place for the purpose. It will be an opportunity for the motivated aspiring applicants to become part of the University’s teaching process on a reasonable remuneration.
Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has decided, to upgrade its distance learning programs. In a press release, this week, it announced that well-qualified persons will be appointed as the University’s part-time tutors in order to enhance the quality of Open-Distance Learning (ODL) system.

Clarification regarding Tutor Registration Form
It has been observed that AIOU Tutor Registration Forms have been uploaded by unknown people on Google and other Social Media and applications are being received from applicants and regions. It is to inform all that the Directorate of Regional Services has not invited any applications for Tutor Registration. If required, applications for the Tutor Registration will be uploaded on AIOU official website (www.aiou.edu.pk) as per set procedure. Furthermore, any kind of claims from the applicants in this connection, i.e. depositing the fees and submitting the applications on their own, will not be entertained by the Directorate of Regional Services.
