Salam everyone!
THIS POST IS A CALL FOR DONATIONS FOR A 14 YEAR OLD CANCER PATIENT

We had a driver, Lateef, who used to work for our company. Recently we found out that his son, Atif, 14 year old has been diagnosed with blood cancer(leukaemia). He is currently being treated by Childrens Hospital Lahore; he was admitted for the previous 4-5 months but now is discharged, however he still has 5 chemotherapies per week, which require injections and different medical tests regularly. The treatment for leukaemia is expensive as each injection costs Rs.15000-Rs.20000pkr, which he requires 15-20 times a month.

The good news is Atif CAN recover in a time of 5-6 months, however, the family is in a severe financial crisis and needs your help in these troubling times. Lateef has had to take a loan of Rs. 250,000 already and has had to put up his house for sale. The company he was currently working with, also closed down due to Covid-19 and he unfortunately lost his job as well. Right now, the life of his son is dependant on whether the family can sufficiently provide for his treatment.The treatment for leukaemia is expensive as each injection costs Rs.12000-Rs.20000pkr, which he requires 5 times a week.

We are requesting you all to please come together as a community and help him as much as you can. Lateef also has another son, aged 12, who contracted jaundice recently, leading to a heart complication. Although he is on his way to recovery, his medications also cost around Rs.20000, monthly. This is a worrying time for the family and the Atif's life depends on whether we can help him pay for his treatment. The Dard-E-Insaaniyat Movement (DIM) donated trees/plants to the Saint Thomas High School, Jhelum. In the ongoing climate change crisis, it is imperative to plant trees in all capacities.

A Corner Meeting was conducted with the local people of the village Toor, District Jhelum. The Chairman Dard-E-Insaaniyat Movement (DIM), Saqlain Sahi chaired the meeting.

All the attendees of the meeting agreed to strictly adhere to the No Vote This Time Campaign in the coming local body elections.

After deep contemplation, we have decided not to make any sort of alliance with any political party of Pakistan. We find no party truly concerned about the welfare of the people.

Moreover, because of the lack of development of understanding between the DIM and DC Office, Islamabad, we have cancelled our commitments with the DC Office, Islamabad. The Mega Tree Plantation Project has also been cancelled.

We shall now onwards arrange the 'Imdad-e-Elahi-o-Nabvi' Program at the grass root level. Privacy shall be ensured regarding the issues of the people and we shall use our potential to resolve their legitimate issues.

Alhamdulillah, the DIM and Awaz NGO has constituted an effective team for realising the Mega Tree Plantation Project in Islamabad. The team members are as follows:

The Chairman Dard-E-Insaaniyat Movement (DIM), Saqlain Sahi, again, had the honor of meeting with the one of the finest civil bureaucrats, the Deputy Commissioner (DC), Islamabad, Mr. Muhammad Hamza Shafqaat.

Significant progress has been made in the Mega Tree Plantation Project in Islamabad. The credit goes to the Mr. Deputy Commissioner.

The Chairman Dard-E-Insaaniyat Movement (DIM), Saqlain Sahi, had a friendly, yet intellectual meeting with the businessmen based at Denmark, Canada, Kharian (Pakistan), and Jhelum (Pakistan).

The Chairman Dard-E-Insaaniyat Movement (DIM), Saqlain Sahi, met with the Federal Minister for Science and Technology, Mr. Fawad Chaudhry. The President Awaz NGO, Canada, Mr. Raja Haq Nawaz and President Awaz NGO, Jhelum, Mr. Malik Arfat were also present during the meeting.

Mr. Fawad Chaudhry appreciated the DIM's welfare projects and ensured his support for the Mega Tree Plantation Project in Islamabad by the DIM and Awaz NGO.

The Chairman Dard-E-Insaaniyat Movement (DIM), Saqlain Sahi, met with the President Muslim League Q District Jhelum, Former Chairman Public Safety Commission, President Anjuman-e-Taajaran, and Ex-MPA Candidate PP-26, Mr. Chaudhry Arif. The businessmen and top brass political figures from Jhelum were also present during the meeting.

The political issues of common concern were discussed during the meeting.

Mr Deputy Commissioner ensured his full support for the DIM's tree plantation drive in Islamabad.

The Chairman Dard-E-Insaaniyat Movement (DIM), Saqlain Sahi, along with his partners, visited the Deputy Commissioner Income Tax, Mr Faheem Khattak at his residence at Islamabad.

Mr Deputy Commissioner appreciated the welfare projects of the DIM and enlightened the guests with his precious guidance.

Alhamdulillah, the Dard-E-Insaaniyat Movement (DIM) distributed face-masks for ensuring protection against the Corona virus in Tehsil Dina, Jhelum.

The Chairman DIM, Saqlain Sahi conducted the activity. Mr Raja Haq Nawaz (President Canada, Awaz NGO), Mr Arfat Irshad (President Jhelum, Awaz NGO), and Mr Mian Nadeem (social and political worker from Dina) participated in the mask distribution activity.

The Chairman Dard-E-Insaaniyat Movement (DIM), Saqlain Sahi met with the prospective candidates of the Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaaf (PTI) for the upcoming local bodies election in Tehsil Dina, Jhelum.

The political issues of the common concern were discussed in the meeting.

The Chairman Dard-E-Insaaniyat Movement (DIM), Saqlain Sahi met with the Council of the Al-Qasim Institute for Special Children, Jhelum. Mr. Sahi handed over face-masks to the Council for the institute to ensure the protection against the COVID-19.

Both the sides showed strong resolve to work for the special children.

The Chairman Dard-E-Insaaniyat Movement (DIM), Saqlain Sahi met with the Chairman Al-Jilal Institute for Down Syndrome Children, Mr Jilal Dar. Mr. Sahi handed over face-masks to Mr. Dar for his institute as well as his free stall project.

Both the Chairmen agreed to work collectively for the welfare of the deserving people. Mr. Bilal, who is the Ambassador of the Down Syndrome People, was also present.

Thanks to the Almighty Allah, the Dard-E-Insaaniyat Movement (DIM) distributed face-masks against the Corona virus threat in the slums of the Shantinagar, Jhelum spread alongside the Jhelum river.

The Chairman DIM, Saqlain Sahi, himself distributed the face-masks among the needy people.

Alhamdulillah, Ration has been distributed among 9 deserving families of Chakwal by the Dard-E-Insaaniyat Movement (DIM).

Special appreciation goes to the President DIM Chakwal District, Mr Taha.

The deserving cancer patient from Chakwal, whom we were supporting for his medical treatment has passed away. Kindly, pray for the departed soul and his family.

However, the expenses of the Tadfeen, Qul and related issues are being managed by the Dard-E-Insaaniyat Movement (DIM).

The President DIM Chakwal District, Mr Taha is supervising all these issues. May Allah give strength to the Mr President for carrying out such a noble task. Ameen.

Alhamdulillah, two deserving families have been provided with basic necessities in Taxila by the Dard-E-Insaaniyat Movement (DIM).

Today, InshAllah, support for the treatment of a cancer patient from Chakwal and provision of the basic necessities to the 8 deserving families in Chakwal will also be ensured. President DIM Chakwal district, Mr Taha is supervising these activities.

Moreover, face mask distribution will be executed soon in Jhelum under the supervision of the Chairman DIM, Saqlain Sahi.

Chairman Dard-E-Insaaniyat Movement (DIM), Saqlain Sahi, today, met with the District Traffic Police Officer Jhelum, Mr. Arshad.

This is to execute our welfare projects with a strong collaboration with the Police so that the adherence to the SOPs against the Corona virus can be ensured in a true spirit.

Alhamdulillah, the Civil Administration and Traffic Police of Jhelum are now on board with us for our coming welfare projects.

Tomorrow, InshAllah, we shall share the details of the welfare projects and corresponding fund-raising scheme.

Today, Chairman Dard-E-Insaaniyat Movement (DIM), Saqlain Sahi met with Deputy Commissioner Jhelum Mr Saif Anwar Jappa, ADCG Jhelum Mr Nazarat, and Assistant Commissioner Jhelum Mr. Zulfiqar Ahmad.

Face-mask distribution among the masses, spreading of awareness regarding the precautionary measures against the Corona virus, and Tree Plantation Drive are the projects which have been planned during the meeting.

Mr Deputy Commissioner Jhelum advised the Chairman DIM to immediately start working on the Face-Mask Distribution Project in the Jhelum District.

Alhamdulillah, meat packages are distributed among the needy people of the village Toor, district Jhelum.

An Iftar was arranged in the end of Ramadan for the needy people in Chakwal, Punjab by the Dard-E-Insaaniyat Movement (DIM).
