Attention everyone! Starting February 26th, we're launching our polio eradication campaign. Our teams will be going door-to-door to administer polio vaccinations and raise awareness about the upcoming vaccination drive. Let's unite to protect our children and end polio for good! *Subject: School Session - The Spirit School Landhi Campus*

On 24th Nov 2023 - 11:30 Am, a school session at The Spirit School - Landhi Campus, led by Sir Jasir Bin Khalid, TCO Landhi Town, along with UCCO & ALSM followed a productive meeting with Principal Madam Kausar. During the meeting, the suggestion was made to share positive messages and the campaign date on the student/parent portal of the school, enhancing outreach.

In the session, discussions extended to practical steps, including the proposal to disseminate positive messages and materials about polio vaccination through the school's Whatsapp groups and Facebook profiles/pages. This collaborative effort aims to amplify the impact of advocacy within the school community.

The combined efforts of the school leadership and Sir Jasir Bin Khalid reflect a proactive approach toward spreading awareness and ensuring active participation in the polio vaccination campaign.

*Polio Ambassador Nominated in Korangi*

Respected Deputy Commissioner Korangi Mr. Syed Jawad Muzaffar conducted a meeting with school representatives along with students. Respected DC oriented the participants regarding the current polio situation in Pakistan, the importance of participation of schools and the need for advocacy by the students.

DC Korangi officially nominated the Teachers and Students of 07 schools as Ambassadors of Polio and provided them the id cards from his office and encouraged the students to develop leadership qualities in them.

The chair also emphasized on the need to establish public private partnerships in polio eradication and set an example to broaden such collaborations.

The chair also advised all the Assistant Commisioners to expand this network in their respective subdivisions.

DEOC team with support of Deputy Commissioner Korangi, Dr. Muhammad Ali Zaidi conducted an important introductory session with the newly appointed UC Chairman, UC Secretaries, and Female Councillors of District Korangi. The session's main objective was to garner support for the upcoming Polio Campaign in the district.

During the session, Dr. Muhammad Ali Zaidi emphasized the significance of their collective efforts in combating polio and protecting the health of the community. The participants were encouraged to work hand in hand to create awareness and ensure a successful implementation of the campaign.

The Deputy Commissioner and Town Chairman Korangi Mr. Naeem Shaikh highlighted the importance of vaccination in eradicating polio and emphasized the need to reach every child in the district, especially those in hard-to-reach areas. They urged the newly appointed officials to play a pivotal role in mobilizing their respective communities and ensuring maximum participation in the vaccination drive.

Mr Amir from EOC shared current updates on Polio and M***i Muhammad Hussain from Dar Ul Uloom ( PSTF) shared importance of prevention and cure with reference to Quran and Sunnah

Please stand with us as Sindh government is set to launch an anti-polio campaign from 19th-25th June in high-risk areas of Karachi and Hyderabad divisions. اس موقع پر ملک و قوم کی سلامتی کے لیے خصوصی دعا بھی کی گئی۔

اجلاس میں ضلع کورنگی میں 13 مارچ سے شروع ہونے والی انسدادِ پولیو مہم کے حوالے سے انتظامات کو حتمی شکل دی گئی۔
اس موقع پر ڈی ایچ او ڈاکٹر افضل اوڈھو، ڈاکٹر کلیم, ڈاکٹر باسط ،سیکورٹی فوکل پرسنز، ای او سی ٹیم ممبران، ٹاوُن فوکل پرسنز، ڈی او سی ٹیم، پولیس اور رینجرز کے افسران نے شرکت کی۔
