🍁 Endodontic Retreatment 🍁

This 13 year old female patient presented to the OPD with complaints of severe pain in her right mandibular area.
On history taking she told us that she got her RCT done around a year ago and since then she has been in pain.
A radiograph was taken which clearly showed a failed RCT.
The patient was then explained the reason for her pain and re-endo was advised.
P.S.: A Stainless steel crown was placed after a month to protect the tooth since there was a lot of structure loss.

🍁 Soft Base Denture 🍁

The patient came with a complaint of severe pain in her lower jaw.
Upon examination it was found that she had only 6 teeth in her mandible and a 14 unit bridge was made using them only, 5 years ago. Now these teeth were mobile and carious.
The PFM bridge was removed and all her mandibular teeth were extracted after which a "Soft Base Denture" was made!

🍁Complete Denture🍁
** Patients maxillary teeth were mobile but she didn't want to get them extracted and preferred to wait till they fell out naturally.

🍁 COMPOSITE FILLING 🍁

The patient came to OPD with complaint of pain in his maxillary right first molar whenever he ate anything.
On examination and radiograph a deep cavity was found. Composite filling was advised.
A follow up visit was done after a month and the patient's complaint had completely subsided ✨

🍁 Fixed Prosthesis 🍁

The patient came with a complaint of missing anterior teeth and wanted fixed prosthesis. A four unit PFM bridge was made!

🍁Full Mouth Rehabilitation🍁
A 28 year old patient came with a complaint of decayed teeth. He had a history of chewing betel nut products (chaliya) since the age of 10.
Upon examination and OPG findings, RCT of multiple teeth were advised with post and core while remaining teeth were extracted.

🔸️ He had a deranged bite, was informed about it but he didn't want to prolong the treatment and was fine with it.
🔸️ Initially temporary crowns were cemented until final PFM crowns were ready.
🔸️He was asked to quit betel nut and by the end of treatment he was successful in doing so.

Surgical Extraction of Horizontally Impacted Mandibular Left Third Molar 🦷

Rct of Mandibular Right Second Molar with Vertucci's Type II configuration.

The minimum distance b/w lower 2nd molar and inferior alveolar nerve is 2mm. So to be on the safe side, after preparing the tooth till apex, under obturation is better.

Nayyar core technique was used. In this technique, retention for the amalgam-core is derived from the remaining pulp chamber and the prepared canals by extending amalgam to these areas.

🍁 Removable Partial Denture 🍁

Pt came with complaint of mobile maxillary bridge.
The teeth under the bridge were carious and mobile, hence could not be saved.
The remaining decayed teeth were also extracted and RPD were made for both the arches!

P.S: All lower anteriors had slight mobility but patient was not willing for any treatment. So scaling was done and follow-up advised.

Extraction of Lower Right Mandibular 3rd molar. 🦷
Patient came with complaint of pain and food impaction on the right side.
2nd Molar was found to be carious and RCT was performed while 3rd molar was extracted surgically.

🍁 Tooth Fracture 🍁

Patient came with history of fall 2 days back.
The broken tooth segment of right central incisor was reattached immediately.
After cleaning and shaping ICM was placed in left central incisor for 2 weeks. Patient was advised to keep lost tooth fragment in normal saline and was reattached after RCT was completed.

🍁 Esthetic Fillings 🍁

Patient got her previous filling done a while back but was not satisfied as it did not match her tooth color.
Composite filling was replaced with the help of lingual index.

RCT of Maxillary Right First Molar with MB2 (Vertucci type IV) canal configuration: two separate and distinct canals extend from the pulp chamber to the apex. 🦷

Full Mouth Rehabilitation of the patient with severely worn dentition. 🍂

Patient came with complaint of missing teeth.
All Mandibular teeth were severely decayed hence were extracted and replaced with a Complete Denture.
Decayed Maxillary teeth could be saved and hence were RCT treated and covered using fixed prosthesis.

P.S: Slight discrepancy between margins of both centrals is b/c the right one is extracted while left one is present, and rct treated.

Filling of Right Mandibular First Molar 🦷

Replacement of missing canine and premolar using a PFM bridge!
Lateral incisor was already deeply carious and required RCT which was performed.

P.s: Patient was given the option of implant but it was an unaffordable option for him.

Pt got a six unit bridge in her Maxillary anteriors 5 years ago. The bridge starting chipping off and looked very unaesthetic. Now the bridge was mobile and she had pain on her left side.
Upon bridge removal her left canine was carious and could not be saved, hence it was extracted and a new 7 unit bridge was made!

♦️Root Caries♦️

Pt. came with complaint of food impaction. Upon diagnosis it was found that the crown was faulty with overhang margins. Rct of first molar was performed.
