It gives us immense pleasure to share comms pertinent to KIVA SQUARE an upcoming event curated by team at Education Works Private Limited (EWPL) housing; The AMI School, Kiva School, AMI Daycare & Learning Centre & Paar. Join us on Jan 13th & 14th’, 2024 for KIVA SQUARE an event driven by 2/3 of our core values for the last 4 decades; Inclusion & Social Responsibility.

Through our event we aspire to create awareness around Inclusion in classrooms. We host at least 2 differently abled children in our class rooms – therefore, we understand the importance the matter entails. Our event is one with a cause, through our ticket sales we pledge 50% of it to the causes of Down syndrome via Karachi Down Syndrome Program & sending humanitarian aid relief fund to Palestine via Kiran Foundation. Our students will enter for FREE - whereas the pass cost is PKR 1000 for those who wish to participate.

What can be expected at KIVA SQUARE!?!

We have curated KIVA SQUARE in a manner where we aspire to welcome our guests (Adults & Children) to come & immerse themselves in FREE OF COST sessions around Interactive holistic well-being sessions - ranging from Art to meditation to music therapy, to dog therapy to nature therapy (tree hugging) mindfulness and so much more along with various Food Stalls & an Organic Market Place, housing several brands. Your support matters your presence matters - we are offering our guests the chance to understand how mindfulness can help them achieve a state of Zen which can only reduce & eliminate over time the judgement that we perceive as humans - once we have achieved that Inclusion automatically becomes a part of the system!!!

Every classroom at KIVA, you’ll notice, features a special place – our “Home Corner”!! In fact, it is usually one of the first areas you’ll see as you enter the classroom – why? Because more often than not, it has the most children in there!
It’s a homely, cosy corner where the lil ones can role-play, dress up and act out events that they associate ‘home’ with. Especially during those first tender days of school, it becomes a magnet, drawing in children seeking a slice of comfort & familiarity. It's no surprise; after all, it's where you'll often find the most laughter, chatter, and the delightful hum of tiny voices lost in play.
In essence, Home Corners are there to let children act out the roles they see in their own homes, pretend play and let their imaginations run free. One minute they might be making fried eggs, the next putting all the family members to bed for the evening! Children love to act out situations from their own world – and the comfy setting of the Home Corner is great for learning how to navigate these situations – opening up discussions about how the objects work, what they do - and sparks their imagination and curiosity for the world around them!

In the rhythm of rustling leaves and the dance of sunlight filtering through the trees, our KIVIANs forge a profound connection with the natural world, fostering a sense of stewardship and environmental consciousness. As they engage with the outdoors, they develop skills that extend beyond the classroom – problem-solving, critical thinking, and teamwork, all nurtured under the gentle guidance of nature.

Yesterday KIVA School welcomed Grade 1 parents to a captivating morning with our young explorers for Together in Tech – where together we dove headfirst into a world of science and exploration!
The air buzzed with the hum of creativity, as families collaborated on tech challenges and embraced the joy of problem-solving. From coding challenges to the world of bioscience, we delved into the wonders of technology, igniting not just circuits but also the flames of curiosity! But the morning was truly more than just about science; it was about the art of being together, of turning each shared moment into something we will cherish for years to come.

Over the past couple of weeks, it has been an absolute delight to open our doors to prospective parents - and offer a firsthand glimpse into the vibrant world of KIVA! This time around We did things a little differently; we hosted these Info Sessions DURING school hours, allowing our guests to truly experience the magic that unfolds within our walls!
As we embark on this new chapter of life together - the essence of our came to life through a series of engaging activities; from captivating stories to hands-on arts and crafts, a brush with nature, and playful moments with our KIVIANs – our aim was to showcase the immersive and joyful learning environment that defines KIVA School.
