Simran – A young woman, who experienced a dangerous first-time pregnancy that risked her life and that of the baby in her womb.

Hamid – a two-year-old boy with cancer who, after surviving a bomb blast, travelled all the way to Karachi in desperate search of treatment.

Farah – A young girl who after losing both her feet in a train accident, learned to walk once again at Indus Hospital.
