With Disappearing Messages conversations do not have to stick around forever – just like in person discussions. While this extra layer of privacy protects messages from falling into the wrong hands, sometimes there’s that occasional voice note or key piece of information you want to keep.
Today we’re introducing “Keep in Chat,” so you can hang on to texts you need for later, with a special superpower for the sender. We believe if you’ve sent the message, it’s your choice whether others in the chat can keep it for later.
To make this work, the sender will be notified when someone keeps a message, and the sender will have the ability to veto the decision. If you’ve decided your message can’t be kept by others, your decision is final, no one else can keep it and the message will be deleted when the timer expires. This way you have the final say on how messages you send are protected.
Messages you’ve saved on your WhatsApp will be noted with a bookmark icon and you can see these messages, organized by chat, in the Kept Messages folder.
We hope people enjoy this new update and the flexibility to keep the messages they need. This will roll out globally over the next few weeks.
Snapchat is rolling out additional features to help creators get noticed and make a living.
Over a year ago, the platform piloted a program that allowed select creators to earn a share of revenue from ads that appear between their Stories posts. Now, creators who have at least 50,000 followers and 25 million monthly Snap views are eligible to enroll in the program, so long as they post at least 10 Stories per month.
Ad revenue share has proven one of the most sustainable models for platforms to pay creators, since potential earnings are not limited by the bounds of a creator fund. But it has proven difficult to share ad revenue on short-form video platforms like TikTok; YouTube Shorts has begun trying to make this work, though it has so far proven difficult.

LinkedIn’s looking to help businesses further showcase their alignment with causes, with a new expansion of its Company Commitments feature, which it initially launched back in September.
LinkedIn’s Commitments element enables brands to showcase their most important values on their Company Page.
LinkedIn says that this has been beneficial for connecting with like-minded staff, and building a company brand, so it’s now expanding these Commitments listings to job ads as well.
As per LinkedIn:
“Company’s commitments - such as work-life balance, diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), career growth and learning, social impact, and environmental sustainability - will now automatically show up in the Job Details when you post a job. We’re also introducing a new job search filter so job seekers can easily discover open roles at your organization based on these commitments.”
Companies will also be able to share their Commitments within feed posts, providing a range of ways to showcase this element to more LinkedIn members.
LinkedIn’s also adding a new way for prospective employees to register their interest in working for your organization, via a new ‘I’m interested’ button on your Company Page.
Last year, we introduced the ability for users globally to message seamlessly across all their devices, while maintaining the same level of privacy and security.
Today, we’re improving our multi-device offering further by introducing the ability to use the same WhatsApp account on multiple phones.
A feature highly requested by users, now you can link your phone as one of up to four additional devices, the same as when you link with WhatsApp on web browsers, tablets and desktops. Each linked phone connects to WhatsApp independently, ensuring that your personal messages, media, and calls are end-to-end encrypted, and if your primary device is inactive for a long period, we automatically log you out of all companion devices.
Linking phones as companion devices makes messaging easier. Now you can switch between phones without signing out and pick up your chats where you left off. Or if you’re a small business owner, additional employees are now able to respond to customers directly from their phones under the same WhatsApp Business account.
This update has started rolling out to users globally and will be available to everyone in the coming weeks.
Also rolling out over the coming weeks, we’re introducing an alternative and more accessible way to link to companion devices. Now you can enter your phone number on WhatsApp Web to receive a one-time code, which you can use on your phone to enable device linking, rather than having to scan a QR code. We look forward to introducing this feature to more companion devices in the future.
YouTube’s announced some new updates for Shorts, which really just bring the app into parity across both Android and iOS devices.
First off, Shorts creators on iOS can now also select a specific frame to act as the thumbnail for their Shorts clip.
YouTube added this capacity for Shorts creators on Android earlier in the year, and now iOS users can also customize their Shorts thumbnail display.
Going the opposite way, YouTube will also now enable creators on Android to reply to a comment with a Short.
Instagram has today launched one of its most requested feature updates, giving users the ability to add up to five links in their IG bio, expanding on its capacity to drive traffic.
As per Instagram:
“Starting today, the update will make it easier for creators and other users to highlight their passions, bring awareness to causes they care about, promote brands they love, showcase their personal business, and more.”
As you can see in these screenshots, your Instagram bio will now display how many links you have available, via profile linking. When tapped, users will then get a Linktree-like overview of the various link options that you’ve enabled.

Maintaining Snap Streaks — where you send a snap to your friend once every 24 hours — is really important to a lot of Snapchat users. To bank on that fact, the company is now allowing users to pause their Snap Streaks, so they don’t have to worry about breaking them if they decide to not access the app for a while.
Snapchat will let users pause only one streak for free during this test phase.
“A lost Snap Streak doesn’t mean your friendship has gone cold, so starting today, we’re making it easier to take a break with a new feature we’re testing to let you reignite the spark and restore one Streak for free with just one tap,” the company said in an announcement.
The company said that users will have “the option to add more Streak Restores right from the app,” and they will cost 99 cents per pause in the U.S. Snap also mentioned that it will soon roll out the ability for Snapchat+ users for freezing streaks. So essentially, people will have to pay either way to maintain streaks.

TikTok has announced a batch of new features intended to reduce screen time and improve the well-being of its younger users.
In the coming weeks, a daily screen time limit of 60 minutes will be automatically applied to every TikTok user under 18 years old. Teens that hit this limit will be asked to enter a passcode to continue watching. They can disable the feature entirely, but if they do so and spend more than 100 minutes on TikTok a day, they’ll be prompted to set a new limit.

Only Legend knows! 😂
TikTok has added four new options to its quick Promote ad feature, which enables brands to essentially boost their posts via a simplified campaign creation process in-stream.
Originally launched in April 2021, Promote campaigns could originally be optimized for:
1) Video views
2) Website visits
3) TikTok follows
Now, brands will also be able to
Drive more visits to your TikTok page – TikTok’s added a new Promote goal focused on driving traffic back to your TikTok page, as opposed to your website
Get more messages from potential customers – Prompt more direct interaction in the app with a new ‘more messages’ Promote the goal
Boost other creators’ content – Brands can also now use Promote to amplify content from creators that they’re working with. ‘Creators can also use Promote for others to give a boost to the content, creators, and businesses they want the world to see.’
Target your audience by location – Finally, TikTok’s also added location as another qualifier in its Promote targeting tools, providing more ways for SMBs, in particular, to reach relevant audiences in the app

That one is Legit! 😂😂
In good news for WhatsApp users, the meta-owned instant messaging application is reportedly developing the ability to transcribe voice notes. With this feature, it will be easier for users to read voice notes if they couldn’t listen to them.
WABetaInfo, a website that tracks WhatsApp, revealed that they found this feature back in September 2021 when WhatsApp first started working on it, but the development was interrupted for unknown reasons. However, the latest beta version of WhatsApp for iOS (23.3.0.73) has revealed that WhatsApp has started working on it once again.
According to the report, the meta-owned instant messaging application has started working on a notice that shows when transcription is unavailable for voice messages. It said that transcripts don’t work when the app doesn’t recognize any words or if transcripts are not set to the language in the sender’s messages.
These transcriptions are always performed locally on the device by downloading relevant language packs and are never shared with WhatsApp or Apple so you’re still the only that can listen to the content of your voice notes. However, the feature may only work on recent versions of iOS, the report said.

From Two to Many
A few years back, two passionate and ambitious gentlemen decided to conquer the emperor of their dreams, disregarding the employment opportunities aligned on their forefront. It was in 2009 when the risk-takers Bakir Ali and Aftab Ali put the foundation of their emperor in the name of Brandians.
From working day and night in the studio apartment to the launch of Brandians dream office in the heart of Karachi, Tariq Road; it took all the right energies, efforts, and dedication of both the co-founders. It was their dedication and the quality of work that their services spread like wildfire in both the local and international markets that the duo soon became overwhelmed with the client requests as well as the candidates willing to join their exciting venture.
Brandians got registered as a legal business entity back in 2016 and today, as of 2020, Brandians has been able to sustain the incredible service quality as well as to attain a foothold identity and recognition across the design and development industry.
There has been a hunch of milestones as well as obstacles that have led Brandians to where it stands now. To attain perfection is mere theory while in the practical world, there’s always some room for betterment and improvement. Brandians have always found pleasure in filling that room, however; it keeps growing big increasing the opportunities for innovation and growth.
