ہم آپ کو سروس کی سطحوں - ایکسپریس پلس، ایکسپریس، ایکسپریس سیور اور ایکسپیڈیٹڈ پر بین الاقوامی اور ملکی ترسیل پر لاگو UPS اضافی ہینڈلنگ سروس چارج میں ایڈجسٹمنٹ کے بارے میں مطلع کرنے کے لیے لکھ رہے ہیں۔ 7 جنوری 2024 سے لاگو، چارج عالمی سطح پر ان سروس لیولز کے ساتھ کسی بھی پیکیج پر لاگو ہوگا، جس کا اصل وزن 25 کلوگرام سے زیادہ ہے۔ اس سروس کے لیے وصول کی جانے والی فیس کی رقم AED پر بدستور برقرار ہے۔ 20 فی پیکج۔



اضافی ہینڈلنگ سروس چارج درج ذیل پر لاگو ہوگا:

کوئی بھی درآمد، برآمد، یا گھریلو پیکیج جس کا اصل وزن 25 کلو گرام سے زیادہ ہو۔
کوئی بھی پیکیج جس کا سب سے لمبا سائیڈ 100cm سے زیادہ ہو، یا دوسرا سب سے لمبا سائیڈ 76cm سے زیادہ ہو۔
سپلائی چین کو متحرک رکھنے کے لیے UPS نیٹ ورک کی کارکردگی اور لچک انتہائی اہمیت کی حامل ہے۔ یہ چارج UPS کو UPS کے حصے پر درکار اضافی ہینڈلنگ کے پیش نظر صارفین کو بہترین ممکنہ سروس فراہم کرنے کی اجازت دیتا ہے۔

Effective 9 Jan 2024 - UPS Additional Handling Charge will apply globally for all shipments over 25kg

We are writing to inform you about adjustments to UPS Additional Handling Service charge applicable on International and Domestic shipments on service levels – Express Plus, Express, Express Saver and Expedited. Effective 9 January 2024, the charge will apply globally to any package with these service levels, with an actual weight greater than 25kg. The amount of the fee charged for this service remains unchanged at AED. 20 per package.



The Additional Handling Service charge will apply to the following:

Any import, export, or domestic package with an actual weight greater than 25kg.
Any package with the longest side exceeding 100cm, or a second-longest side exceeding 76cm.
The efficiency and flexibility of UPS network is of the utmost importance to keep supply chains moving. This charge allows UPS to continue providing the best possible service to the customers in consideration of the additional handling required on UPS part.

We have some exciting news to share with you following recent developments at the IPATA conference. Emirates SkyCargo is thrilled to announce that we will be lifting the ban on transporting snub-nosed pets for a trial period during the winter season from 01st November 2023 to 01st April 2024, a decision met with overwhelming support from industry experts. We understand how important this change is to pet owners, and we are committed to ensuring the safety and the well-being of your beloved furry companions during their journeys.

Effective 1 November 2023, our new policy will allow for the transportation of snub-nosed pets, with a focus on their comfort and safety. Below are the key requirements you need to be aware of when flying your snub-nosed pets:

• Fit to fly certificate: Customers are required to provide a Fit to Fly Certificate issued by their appointed Veterinarian. This will be in conjunction with the IPATA checklist for snub-nosed breeds.

• IPATA fit to fly snub-nosed checklist: The attached completed snub-nosed checklist is mandatory per IPATA standards which will also be available on the IPATA website.

• Minimum crate size: Pets must be transported in a crate that is at least twice the size of what is typically required for non-snub-nosed breeds, guaranteeing their comfort during the journey.

• Single sector uplift: Snub-nosed pets will only be accepted for single sector uplift.

• A380 aircraft: Snub-nosed pets will be limited exclusively to A380 aircraft.

• Restricted departure times: No departures, from Dubai (DXB), are permitted between 09:00-18:00hrs.

• Uplift Dates: Between 1 November 2023 and 1st April 2024

• Cats allowed: Cats are permitted to be transported on both daytime and night-time departures.

• Age restriction: Age restrictions are as per the Emirates internal guidelines

• Snub-nose specific indemnity & waiver letter: Customers will be required to sign a snub-nose specific indemnity waiver letter.

Ref: Dollar Billing Policy by International Courier Companies

Dear Valued Customer,

We keenly appreciate your continuous support and cooperation in carrying on business with RIGHTWAY LOGISTICS to meet Express needs, where we do our utmost efforts to ensure matchless services.

As this is already in your information that all International Courier Brands are billing us in dollars on advance payment terms, where we close our business transaction on same day with them. Fluctuation in US dollar to higher side is badly impacting Courier Industry, our business terms with your organization are not on Cash / Advance payment basis, consequently, business transaction in PKR is incompatible.

Therefore, with Effective from 1st September,2023 we will Invoice in US Dollars and payments will also be received with the same day US Dollar conversion rate. Following points are being jotted down for your better understanding;

1- Billing is being shifted from PKR to US Dollars.
2- Invoices will be sent in US Dollars on daily basis.
3- US$ Exchange rate as per the NBP’s TT selling rate will be applied on the date the payments will be received.
4- Payments will be received in PKR and will be reflected in US$ in your ledger with conversion rate of the same day.
5- Outstanding balance will be converted to US$ and will reflect in your ledger as opening balance.
6- Conversion rate on outstanding balance is based on the period the balance is outstand, if the amount is constant since last 6 months, and it was due to pay 6 months back, the conversion rate will be applied of 6 months back.
7- You can pay your outstanding amount within 7 days, till 7th September, 2023 to avoid application of old US$ Exchange rate on your outstanding amount.

Dear Sir, we strongly advise to adopt the same policy for your customers as well to maintain your financial transaction smooth with current market and aligned with industrial dynamics.
