Never get any sort of coating done on your vehicle if you have the time and / or resources available to wax it 2-4 times a month. It is not a better or worse option case. Both are merely solutions fitting different needs.

Important things to note or ask before giving in your vehicle for detailing
1-). If any deep scratch marks exist, either get them fixed beforehand or be clear with your detailing service what to expect
2-). Ask them which brands products they will use. Ask them broadly what steps will be taken for detailing your vehicle
3-). Try to be as clear as you can, as to what to expect after detailing. What kind of shine, clarity on your vehicle.
4-). If going for any sort of protective coatings, be sure to be clear about warranties and conditions. Get absolute clarity on them. Almost all coatings are sold with over rated claims. Especially given Pakistan's weather.
5-). Get tips on how to maintain your detailed vehicle. And correct paintwork and interior maintenance techniques. This gets you more mileage for your money
