Umeed e Seher successfully conducted its Ration Drive in collaboration with Rizq in Faisalabad! The Ration Drive has taken place throughout the week targeting deserving homes.

Taking precautions because of Corona, the ration bags were placed outside the homes with a call to collect them, and our team left after confirming the reception.

Umeed-e-Seher brings you a platform that intends to spread positivity amidst this period of uncertainty and hopelessness.
We believe LUMS is a place with people who have a lot of inspirational experiences and stories, which when shared, would motivate people not only in LUMS, but people all across the globe.
In our drive to bring hope in people’s lives, we have created a platform named “LUMS Kahaniyan” with inspiring and influential messages and stories from the LUMS community! We plan on sharing the stories of our students, support staff and alumni, alongwith motivating messages from our instructors, through this platform!

In response to the prevailing situation in Pakistan, and our belief in working together in this pandemic, Umeed-e-Seher joins hands with Rizq in its campaign. It aims to fight with the destructive impact of the virus outbreak.

Our goal is to target 250 families in Faisalabad by providing them with monthly ration for a period of 3 months.
The cost per ration is Rs:3500 and caters for a family of 5.

Umeed-e-Seher has joined hands with Ain-ع Foundation for a Ration Drive in Gujranwala. The drive will be conducted on Monday, 6th April. More than 100 families have been identified who will be served on this drive.

We aim to increase the number of families in our upcoming drives that will be conducted in other cities. We encourage all of you to donate as much as you can. Daily wagers in our country are now not afraid from this virus as much as they are from hunger.

Last week Umeed-e-Seher accompanied Aagosh, a social enterprise. Our Treasurer, Maha Haider and our Marketing Director, Qirat Ahsan, cycled along with 20 other participants around DHA on their inaugural event of promoting cycling culture in Lahore.
We believe it is a great initiative towards a healthy and environment friendly lifestyle.
