Hello everyone! As intimated earlier, the Medical Research Department at SYNCH FMH will be holding an online session tomorrow.
Dr Mahina Baloch will be joining us for the session. She is an avid researcher and is currently working as a third year Postgraduate Resident in the Department of Haematology at Jinnah Hospital, Lahore. Being GMC registered, she also has first-hand insight into how important research is in the context of applying for training positions abroad.

The session will be held tomorrow, Sunday 4th September, at 4 PM.

We are pleased to announce that SYNCHFMH is holding it’s next Mental Health session in collaboration with the Psychiatric department of Fatima Memorial Hospital and presents to you

“Emotional Regulation Session 2.0”

We look forward for SYNCH members and NON-SYNCH members to join this mitigating activity.

Miss Farah Tiwana will be the mediator for the session. In her own words, _“I am a clinical psychologist and counsellor, experienced in working with young adults. I use cognitive behavioural, body-based and relational approaches in my therapeutic work.”_

As we are keeping the session on the same topic of discussion as the last one, those who joined the previous session cannot join this one but they will be able to do so in following months when we change said topic.

We have a limit of 20 members for this session and it will be on first come first serve basis, so hurry up and register!

SYNCH (Solidarity among Young Nation for Change) is an organisation of young, boisterous medical students working all across Pakistan with 60+ medical college units and 5000 active members focusing on medical and non-medical issues. A workshop held at Gen. Attiq-ur-Rehman Auditorium (by SYNCH-FMHCMD) with our Guest speaker being Dr Atif Munir addressed the audience with an incredible presentation that related to not just coping up with stage fright but also taught us how to address an audience during a presentation.
He inoculated the idea of presentation skills in the minds of young boys and girls with a remarkable attitude.
We are really thankful to the Presidents and students from AIMC, LMDC, CMH, KEMU & FJMU who joined us, especially for this session at FMH.
