ThermoSens dentures in a 75 year old male patient.
They were introduced by Vertex TM Dental, a Dutch specialist company, wanting to provide a Partial denture more aesthetically pleasing, comfortable and durable.
ThermoSens is a Thermo Plastic material denture, and is the first partial denture that is monomer and acrylic free.
Unlike some of the conventional (flexible) materials used today that are translucent and inconsistent, ThermoSens colour holds up to even the harshest liquids and foods a mouth can endure, so no worries when eating or drinking.

AVULTION is a type of Dental Trauma in which there is total dislocation of tooth from the socket

Treatment depends on severity of dentoalveolar trauma....time elapsed since injury and proper management

More than 24 hours had elapsed and tooth was stored in an empty non sterile plastic box

Cell phone related Fracture of 31 central incisor resulting in complete mid level fracture....the segment was re attached composite and a composite built-up veneering of the tooth was carried out to merge line of demarcation,adding 45° bevels on both the tooth and the fractured segment...resulting in a beautiful outcome...the incisal height was trimmed after this pic was taken

Bionator appliance with coffin spring in a 9yr old male patient with excessive overjet and deep bite along with short lower jaw

Bionator appliances are often used as part of a comprehensive orthodontic treatment plan that may also include braces or other orthodontic devices. These appliances are generally used around the pubertal growth spurt to correct jaw imbalances and correct excess overbites.

*As the family was moving out of country soon that is why the parents wanted something urgent to correct the bite until specialist treatment could be initiated in new location*

Surgical Removal of Palatally Impacted Supernumerary Tooth (Tuberculate type) in a 13yr old boy...this supernumerary impeded the eruption of UR central and displaced UR Lateral and Canine.

Surgery was complicated by close proximity of Incisive Foraman which resulted in frequent pain on luxation...and deep placement of supernumerary in a confined area bounded by dentition lead to limited instrumentation.

The socket defect was filled with resorbable collagen sponge after copious irrigation
Wound closed with 3/0 vicryl suture

Direct Composite Veneering plus midline diastema closure... finished with micro fine bur and polishing by quartz paste resulting in a massive improvement in esthetics 👍
