وفد نے گورنر کو میڈیکل ٹیچنگ انسٹی ٹیوشن مردان، اس میں شامل طبی و تعلیمی اداروں اور ان کی کارکردگی بارے تفصیلی طور پر آگاہ کیا۔ وفدنے گورنر کو کالج کے ائندہ ہونے والے کانوکیشن کیلئے کی جانے والی تیاریوں سے بھی آگاہ کیا اور ان کو کانوکیشن میں بطور مہمان خصوصی شرکت کرنے کیلئے باضابطہ طور پر مدعو کیا۔ گورنر نے ادارے کی تعلیمی سرگرمیوں اور مریضوں کو فراہم کی جانے والی علاج معالجے اور تشخیص کی سہولیات اور اس ضمن میں ادارے کی انتظامیہ کی جانب سے کی جانے والی کاوشوں کو سراہا اور اطمینان کا اظہار کیا۔گورنر نے وفد کو ادارے کی بہتری کیلئے کی جانے والی کوششوں میں حکومت کی طرف سے بھرپور تعاون کی یقین دہانی کروائی اور بی کے ایم سی کی جانب سے منعقدہ کانووکیشن میں شرکت کی دعوت کو قبول کیا۔

BASIC PRINCIPLES of Diffusion Tensor Imaging (DTI): When Robert Brown, a botanist, in 1827 described his microscopic observations of distinctly random patterns of motion pertaining to the pollens suspended in water, little did he realise that his research would fundamentally pave the way for something as epoch-defining as the enterprise of patient-specific structural mapping of entire brains in terms of neural-circuits and networks (the human connectome project).
This in-turn opened up a completely ingenuous approach of understanding the neuro-physiological basis of temporally dynamic normal brain functions as well as the corresponding patho-physiologies, thus providing newer insights into potential focused treatment strategies.
These random patterns of movement (diffusion) of water molecules differ from region to region within the brain, based on various physiological and/or pathological factors.
Diffusion tensor imaging is a MRI-based imaging technique which utilises these distinct Brownian motion patterns of water molecules within the brain so as to delineate the white-matter tracks, which form the scaffoldings of distinct structural & functional neural-networks.
White-matter tracks are elongated in shape and are punctuated by its constituent obstacles (intra-and-inter) such as membranes, microtubules etc., therefore, diffusion of water molecules within axons is more along their long-axis than across (anisotropy).
The degree of anisotropy (‘fractional anisotropy’), which differs from one track to another depending upon its constituents, is measured by a mathematical-model known as ‘tensor’ when it is applied to each voxel of a diffusion-weighted MRI. These differences in the measures of anisotropy help in characterising and defining distinct white-matter tracks which in turn contribute to the structural demonstrations of specific neural-circuits connecting various regions of the brain.
Thus, by zeroing in on the principal white matter tract that structurally connects various conventional target regions encompassing a putative functional neural-circuit, as in today’s case the ‘hyper-direct’ pathway, visualisation of the target location in this patient-specific space is an important application of deterministic DTI for optimising deep brain stimulation results for distinct pathologies..

The College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) on Wednesday notified prominent Neurosurgeon Assist Prof Dr Naeemul Haq as Supervisor for the FCPS training in Bacha Khan Medical College/ Mardan Medical Complex.
The CPSP has recently accorded accreditation to the Neurosurgery Department of MMC for FCPS training. The appointment of Assist Prof Dr Naeemul Haq as FCPS Supervisor and granting of the accreditation to Neurosurgery for FCPS training is a great achievement.
This development has provided a golden opportunity to young health professionals to get train under the supervision of skill full/highly talented and acclaimed Neurosurgeon like that of Assist Prof Dr Naeemul Huq and, apply the skills they will learn during their training, to serve the ailing humanity in this specialty.
May this accomplishment lead to more success in years to come. Many many congratulation on this great achievement.

6- If you (usually) care about knowing a popular last name instead of a first name.. you are a racist and would likely help people just because of their origins. You also care about people, not ideas and achievements.
7- If you violate the traffic instructions, and you have no regard for traffic lights... you have a readiness for all transgressions, even if innocent people fall into them.
Fighting corruption starts from the self. Let's try to be distinguished people wherever we are, and remember that honesty is what you do between you and yourself and not just what you do in the presence of people.
