Zahoor Khatoon trust was started during the Pakistan KP floods in 2010 when many people lost lives, houses and property.
At that time with efforts from family and friends in Pakistan and UK - about 55 damaged houses were rebuilt, including a mosque and girls school.

In 2018/19, the current projects were started in
Village Mera Kachori near Jhagra, District Peshawar, Pakistan.

Extremely poor families have been housed completely free in basic houses - so far 36 are complete and being lived in. Also includes a new mosque and academy.

Zahoor Khatoon Trust also has
Water pump projects,
Monthly financial support projects,
Marriage support projects,
Food pack distribution
and also support to set up small busineses for poor.

The entire trust is run from direct donations from personal family and friends / word of mouth to known people only.
That way, everyone has a personal connection to the trust and you can have direct accountability.

There is no elaborate advertising, no overhead costs, no employees, no wages. All the donation goes direct to the deserving people.

The trust is registered in Pakistan.
