Quetta, Balochistan: The Balochistan Education Endowment Fund (BEEF) held its 34th Board Meeting, chaired by Mr. Babar Khan, Secretary Finance- Government of Balochistan. The meeting, attended by key stakeholders, highlighted significant progress in scholarship schemes and the launch of the SHAHEED BENAZIR BHUTTO SCHOLARSHIP Program, as announced by Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfaraz Ahmed Bugti.

During the meeting, Mr. Zakaria khan Noorzai, CEO of BEEF, presented an overview of the organization's progress. The Board approved several fully funded scholarship schemes aimed at empowering various communities in Balochistan:

1. **Scholarship for Children of Civil Martyrs**: BEEF approved a fully funded scholarship scheme for children of civil martyrs in Balochistan, honoring their sacrifice and supporting their education.

2. **Scholarship for Transgender & Minority Community Children**: Recognizing the importance of inclusivity, BEEF introduced a fully funded scholarship scheme for children from the transgender and minority communities, ensuring equal access to education.

3. **Scholarship for District Toppers of Matric & Intermediate**: To encourage academic excellence, BEEF initiated a fully funded scholarship scheme for district toppers of Matric and Intermediate examinations, promoting merit-based education.

4. **Foreign PhD Program for Students of Balochistan**: BEEF's flagship program aims to provide opportunities for higher education by launching a fully funded Foreign PhD Program for students in Balochistan, fostering intellectual growth and international collaboration.

These initiatives underscore BEEF's commitment to improving access to quality education and fostering talent in Balochistan. The Board's approval signifies a significant step towards realizing the educational aspirations of the province's diverse communities.

Mr. Babar Khan, Secretary Finance of the Government of Balochistan, expressed his appreciation for the proactive measures taken by BEEF to enhance educational opportunities in the region. He emphasized the importance of investing in education for the socio-economic development of Balochistan.

وزیر اعلٰی بلوچستان میر سرفراز بگٹی نے بلوچستان میں بینظیر بھٹو اسکالرشپ پروگرام کے اجراء کا اعلان کرتے ہوئے دنیابھر کی 200 ٹاپ ٹین جامعات میں پی ایچ ڈی اسکالرشپ اور شہداء کے بچوں ، اقلیتوں اور ٹرانس جینڈر کمیونٹی کے لئے خصوصی تعلیمی وظائف کی منظوری دے دی ہے وزیر اعلٰی نے بلوچستان کے ہر ضلع سے میٹرک میں دس نمایاں پوزیشن کے حامل طالب علموں کو بھی اعلٰی تعلیمی اسکالرشپ دینے کا اعلان کیا ، اس پروگرام کے تحت جدید سائنسی علوم میں پی ایچ ڈی کے خواہشمند بلوچستان کے ہر طالب علم کو اسکالرشپ دی جائے گی پیر کو یہاں وزیر اعلٰی سیکرٹریٹ میں بلوچستان انڈومنٹ فنڈ کے جائزہ اجلاس میں وزیر اعلٰی بلوچستان نے صوبے کی تاریخ کے پہلے اعلٰی تعلیمی اسکالرشپ بینظیر بھٹو اسکالر شپ پروگرام کے اجراء کی اصولی منظوری دیتے ہوئے متعلقہ حکام کو ضروری کارروائی 15 جولائی تک مکمل کرنے کی ہدایت کی، اجلاس میں چیف سیکرٹری بلوچستان شکیل قادر خان سمیت اعلٰی حکام نے شرکت کی وزیر اعلٰی بلوچستان نے ایجوکیشن انڈومنٹ فنڈ کے تحت پہلے سے جاری مختلف اسکالرشپ پروگرامز میں شفافیت کا جائزہ لینے کے لئے تھرڈ پارٹی آڈٹ کرانے کی ہدایت کی اور پروگرام کے چیف ایگزیکٹو آفیسر کو افرادی قوت حسب ضرورت محدود رکھنے کی ہدایت کی اجلاس کے بعد اپنے ایک پیغام میں وزیر اعلٰی بلوچستان میر سرفراز بگٹی نے کہا کہ الحمداللہ بلوچستان میں بینظیر بھٹو اسکالرشپ تعلیمی کفالت کے تاریخی پروگرام کی منظوری دے دی گئی ہے پی ایچ ڈی کی عمومی اسکالرشپ کے علاوہ محکمہ داخلہ سے رائج الوقت پالیسی کے تحت شہید قرار دئیے گئے شہداء کے بچوں کے نرسری سے اعلٰی تعلیم تک تمام تعلیمی اخراجات صوبائی حکومت برداشت کرے گی میر سرفراز بگٹی نے کہا کہ تمام شہداء کے بچوں کو ریاست والد کی طرح دیکھے گی اور ان کا ہر طرح سے خیال رکھا جائے گا وزیر اعلٰی بلوچستان نے محکمہ داخلہ کو شہید قرار دئیے جانے والے تمام افراد کے اعداد و شمار اکٹھا کرنے کی ہدایت کرتے ہوئے ضروری کارروائی جلد از جلد شروع کرنے کی ہدایت کی اجلاس میں بینظیر بھٹو اسکالرشپ پروگرام کے تحت بلوچستان میں اقلیتوں اور ٹرانس جینڈر کے لئے نرسری سے ماسٹر تک سالانہ پچاس پچاس اسکالرشپ دینے کا فیصلہ بھی کیاگیا، اجلاس میں بلوچستان ایجوکیشن انڈومنٹ فنڈ کے چیف ایگزیکٹو آفیسر زکریا خان نورزئی نے بریفنگ دی.
