Dr. Qasim Ali Khan, who's in charge of the Upper Swat Development Authority, shared some exciting news about Swat Valley. He said that in 2023, a lot of people visited Swat – about 449,000! These visitors came from different places, and some were from other countries, like China and the US.

He mentioned famous spots like Malam Jabba, Gabin Jabba, Kalam, and others where people went. Even though there was a big flood in 2002 that caused a lot of damage, more people visited Swat in 2023 compared to the year before.

Dr. Qasim Ali said that they're working hard to make Swat even better for tourists. They want to make new cool places for people to visit and make sure there are good facilities for everyone. They believe this will also help create jobs for local people.

Ahmed Khan, who helps with decisions about Swat, also felt happy about so many tourists coming to Swat last year.
