Skardu Airport achieved a significant milestone as it successfully managed to handle 12 flights in a single day. These flights operated between major cities of Pakistan, including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, and Skardu.
According to the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) spokesperson, the increased number of flights indicates the growing interest of both local and international tourists in Skardu, a breathtakingly beautiful destination.
The enhanced air connectivity to Skardu is expected to give a significant boost to tourism in the region. In addition, last year, a decision was made to initiate international air operations at Skardu Airport, further contributing to its development and accessibility.
