🔥GŁOSY Z NECROSCOPE🔥

Dziś znowu obszernie (zaczynam lubić tę formę, gdzie omawiam nowości z jednego konkretnego labelu) i kolejna porcja nowości wydawniczych. Bohaterem będzie tu Necroscope zine i label działający przy piśmie, czyli Necroscope Blasphemia. Szykujcie się na konkretną dawkę oldschoolowego rzemiosła!

Necroscope Metalzine #39 - kolejna porcja metalowej lektury na 140 stronach A5. Masa wywiadów, recenzji, czytania jest na kilka wieczorów. Najciekawsze materiały dotyczą Bulldozer, Tortured Co**se, Demonic Lust, Goatkraft oraz Satahanas (za Master, czyli bohaterami z okładki jakoś nigdy nie przepadałem, także może dlatego rozmowa mnie tak nie wciągnęła). Naprawdę dobre, ciekawe i rozbudowane rozmowy. No i z racji tego, że Necroscope obchodzi swoje 30-lecie, sekcja "Pearls from Abyss" poświęcona jest właśnie początkom tegoż zina - jak to się wszystko zaczęło, kto uczestniczył w tworzeniu zina itd. Fajne, nostalgiczne wspominki. Kawał lektury, także polecam, chociaż zine ten ma już absolutnie wyrobioną renomę.

Demonic Lust - "Unholy Devourer of Souls"
Jak odpakowałem płytę, obejrzałem poligrafię, to już mniej więcej wiedziałem czego się spodziewać - black, black/death metalu rodem z Ameryki Południowej! I trafiłem! Panowie są z Chile i serwują nam kapitalny BM tak bardzo dla tej sceny charakterystyczny - gęsty, surowy, bluźnierczy na wskroś! Na tym CD dostajemy kompilację dwóch demówek Demonic Lust, które rozprowadzał zespół we własnym zakresie. Także dzięki Necroscope materiały te mają szansę dotrzeć do większej liczby maniaków tematu. Proste, ale cholernie dobre i klimatyczne granie. Lubicie Grave Desecrator, Mystifier, Goat Semen? To bierzcie w ciemno!

Riese - "Sudden Strike"
A więc wojna! Tak, bo z dźwięków "Sudden Strike" biją odłamki pocisków, bitewny zgiełk i miażdżący dźwięk wszelakiego ciężkiego sprzętu! Staroszkolny death metal w bardzo dobrym, szczerym wydaniu! Cztery numery utrzymane w średnich tempach, emanujące riffami niczym z wczesnego Bolt Thrower i podobnych. Ta polska ekipa wie w czym rzecz, także nic tylko czekać na pełny album, a na razie sięgajcie po "Sudden Strike" szykując się, nie wiem, na "Open War"? Taki tytuł na kolejny materiał pasowałby jak ulał!

Onslaught Command/ Rito Profanatorio - "Pervertida Ceremonia Sangrienta
Split dwóch zespołów również z Ameryki Południowej, kolejno z Chile i Peru. Tak jak Onslaught Command z marszu pochwycił mnie swoim smolistym i gęstym black/death metalem, zagranym z pasją i według tamtejszej dobrze znanej receptury na tę sztukę, tak Rito Profanatorio to raczej porażka, totalnie nie moja bajka. Niby też black/death, ale z elementami thrashu. Oczywiście i takie granie zna świat, ale w ich wydaniu to jakiś zbytni bajzel. Na dodatek praktycznie każdy numer zaczyna się jakimiś intrami cholera wie skąd. Niszczy to odbiór i spójność płyty. Także pierwszy zespół na tak, drugi - sorry, podziękuję.

🔥VOICES FROM NECROSCOPE🔥

Today, another portion of new releases in an expanded form (I am beginning to like this form, where I discuss news from one particular label). The protagonist here will be the Necroscope zine and the label operating alongside it, which is Necroscope Blasphemia. Get ready for a concrete dose of oldschool art!

Necroscope Metalzine #39 - another serious dose of metal reading on 140 A5 pages. A lot of of interviews, reviews, there is enough reading for several evenings. The most interesting material concerns Bulldozer, Tortured Co**se, Demonic Lust, Goatkraft and Satahanas (Master, i.e. the heroes from the cover, were never my favourite, so maybe that's why the interview didn't draw me in as much). Really good, interesting and developed conversations, I must say. And because Necroscope is celebrating its 30th anniversary, the "Pearls from Abyss" section is dedicated to the very beginnings of the zine - how it all started, who was involved in the creation of the zine, and so on. Cool, nostalgic reminiscences. It's a piece of good reading, and I recommend it, even though the zine has absolutely made a name for itself.

Demonic Lust - "Unholy Devourer of Souls".
As I unwrapped the album and looked at the artwork, I already knew more or less what to expect - black, black/death metal from South America! And I got it! These guys are from Chile and they serve us a brilliant BM so characteristic of this scene - dense, raw, thoroughly blasphemous! On this CD we get a compilation of two Demonic Lust demos, which the band distributed by themselves. Thanks to Necroscope, this material has the chance to reach more maniacs of the subject. Simple, but damn good playing witha proper atmosphere. Do you like Grave Desecrator, Mystifier, Goat Semen? Then take it blind!

Riese - "Sudden Strike"
War, then! Yes, because the sound of "Sudden Strike" is filled with bullet shrapnel, the din of battle and the crushing sound of all kind of heavy equipment! Oldschool death metal in a very good, honest form! Four tracks kept in medium tempos, emanating with riffs like from early Bolt Thrower and other similar bands. This Polish group know what they are doing, so all we can do is wait for the full-length album, but for now, reach for "Sudden Strike" while getting ready for, I don't know, "Open War"? Such a title for the next material would fit like a glove!

Onslaught Command/ Rito Profanatorio - "Pervertida Ceremonia Sangrienta".
A split of two bands also from South America, from Chile and Peru respectively. Just as Onslaught Command grabbed me from the get-go with their tarry and dense black/death metal, played with passion and according to the local well-known recipe for this art, Rito Profanatorio is rather a failure, totally not my cup of tea. They seem to be black/death too, but with thrash elements. Of course, this kind of music is known to the world, but it's just too much of a mess. On top of that, practically every number starts with some intro from who knows where. It destroys the reception and coherence of the album. The first band for yes, the second - sorry, thank you.
