A sunny morning after the rain in the Francesca sweater ☕️.
⠀
This is a warm oversized sweater and at the same time extremely soft: merino wool, cashmere, and silk mohair - you won’t want to take it off. Worked with three strands held together throughout the pattern: 2 strands of Milano held together with one strand of Premia by 🐑.

Some progress on my fall design.
It didn’t take much time to get the fit just right since I had a paper template drawn up beforehand. A bit of stitch counting and everything fell into place. I can’t wait to work on the sleeve and do a test try-on 🙌🏼.

A new beginning.
The weekend is the perfect time for a new cast-on. I’m so glad I waited for this moment to start knitting another piece from the Chantal family. And even though I’m at the very, very beginning, I already have a clear vision of how it should look. Just hoping it turns out exactly as I imagined 💭.

My Red Paul Cardigan ❣️. I keep thinking about how much I want to knit it again with new yarn and in a new color. I haven’t decided yet—my needles are always busy with something ➿🥢, and choosing a color is quite a quest. But the desire is firmly planted in my mind 💭.

The next few days are going to be rainy, which means I have the perfect excuse to wear my Maren Tee. It’s my go-to shirt for a rainy summer day 🌧️.

I’m excited to finally show you the try-on of the Micaela sweater 🩶.
I wanted to balance this design to be both feminine and masculine while keeping a minimalist look, so you don’t have to think about what to wear it with 🙌🏼.
⠀
My first sweater shown in the photo is knitted with 3 strands of silk mohair Premia by in a stunning gray shade, number 03. This is not standard silk mohair, as it has a length of 300 meters instead of the usual 210-212, making it very delicate. When knitted with 3 strands, it doesn’t feel too thick. It’s very silky. I used about 225 g (9 skeins) for the size M, excluding swatches. I’ll share approximate yarn consumption for all sizes a bit later 🙌🏼. The pattern is currently being tested and will be available in early August.

Today I thought about what it would be like if I knitted the double edges in a different color… they are so geometric. Or maybe the whole vest in stripes. It got me curious. My needles are busy right now, but I’ve saved this idea 💭 for the future. Maybe one day I’ll get to try it 🥰. What do you think would work better?
⠀
The Bruno Vest pattern is available at www.morecaknit.com and Ravelry. You can knit it with 2 strands – wool and silk mohair – or with a single strand of cashmere if you want to wear it on its own 👌🏼.

Morning with the Micaela sweater.
As I mentioned earlier, this design will be available to knit with 1, 2, or 3 strands so that each of you can choose your preferred thickness and knit your Micaela sweater for any weather 👌🏼. Right now, I’m working on the single-strand version, for which I chose silk cashmere. I absolutely love this option and can’t wait to get to the neckline and see how it looks when folded. The 2- and 3-strand versions use silk mohair, which differ slightly in yarn thickness. I’m almost ready to share more details about each of my choices 🙌🏼. My needles are clicking away 🥢 and I can’t wait to share the finished garment with you 🥰.

Something new is taking shape on my needles 🥢. I’ve wanted to bring this design to life for a long time, and it has been waiting for its moment. I had to sketch it out to achieve the fit I want, and now I am full of energy to complete it for the upcoming fall 🥰.

⠀
A few details about the Bruno Vest.
I just can’t resist a folded finish. Sometimes I think about keeping it simple with a single layer of ribbing, but I always end up choosing the folded finish. It takes a bit more time and effort, but it’s worth it 🙌🏼.
What about you? Do you prefer a simple neckline or a folded one 😁?

The best thing for hot weather is linen 🌱. I’m so glad that while working on the Chantal top pattern, I decided to make a black version to go with the white one. It looks so interesting; I love that this black isn’t solid but has speckles 🌚.

If you’re feeling the heat too, check out the Chantal top pattern at www.morecaknit.com or on Ravelry 👌🏼.

Enjoying my freshly knitted Mist Blouse.
I’m always amazed at how lightweight it is. For size S, it used exactly 125 grams of silk cashmere. I’m currently working on the calculations and will soon update the pattern with the yarn usage for Brushlight by Cardiff Cashmere 🙌🏼.

Bruno Slipover.
⠀
Redesigning the entire pattern in reverse was a real challenge, but I did it, and I’m thrilled 🙌🏼. Now, the Bruno Slipover will be knit from the top down and is available in sizes XS-3XL.

The updated pattern will be available next week, but you can set up a notification at www.morecaknit.com now so you don’t miss it.
