The ICNS starts this Monday (29 August) at the University of Warsaw. We are looking forward to welcoming here so many archaeologists, epigraphists, historians and other scholars working on the ancient and modern history of Sudan and Nubia!

The 50th anniversary – remembering past congresses

As the ISNS will be celebrating its 50th anniversary, we would like to reminisce about the Society’s earlier gatherings held since the first congress in Warsaw in 1972. Please help us put together a dossier to show at the coming conference. If you have photos from the previous congresses or would like to share other interesting souvenirs and memories, please send them to us by e-mail ([email protected]). We will compile them into an exhibition that will be a trip down memory lane.
