Semolina puri that’s waiting for y’all!

We make our puri in-house, using recipes collected from the kitchen team’s family back in India. After a process of trial and error, we finally achieved the right flavour and texture needed to make your Gol gappa experience whole!

It’s light, crispy and perfectly hollow to hold all the condiments to go with this legendary Indian street food.

Could this be the best samosa in town?

The answer is a resounding yes!

Not surprising, because what makes our samosa stand out is that the masala and the dough is made just like it’s done in the east of India where it’s known by a different name. Singhara. If you know, you know. The pastry is crispy and light, the potatoes are mashed super smooth for a creamy texture, with tiny chunks of potato added for an added texture.

We’re open till 11PM today.

Our saffron infused paratha is made with love and patience. The dough rests for at least 24 hours before it’s rolled out flat, and fried in our cast iron Tawa/skillet. We use them in our kathi rolls. You have chicken/mutton versions, Paneer version and a vegan version.

Masala Chai as it should be! The spice blend is made in-house and Assam CTC tea leaves. Ask for piping hot samosa to go with this. Magic combo!

We are glad to announce that we decided to open our doors from 3PM-11PM today. It will be our first day of service. We will not have some items on the menu but we have plenty of stuff that will be available for you to taste and enjoy.

Why Delhi 6?

The number 6 refers to the PIN of Chandni Chowk area of Old Delhi. The neighbourhood most famous for the numerous street food stalls, with culinary secrets passed down from several generations. Every stall, every restaurant in this area comes with their own history. With most of them atleas 3 generations old and some running succesfully since 1884.

When we conceptualized this restaurant, we were sure we wanted people who’ve worked in this area to bring the most original flavours to Warsaw.

The entire kitchen staff have worked entirely in restaurants and street food stalls in Chandni Chowk. So it was a natural decision to name the restaurant Delhi 6, to evoke a sense of nostalgia for the diaspora and introduce the essence of this particular street food to the people of Warsaw.
