Throwback Thursday, that picture is from the Trackday. It was the first rollout with the new hood and the new alignment, which was necessary, as several parts from their way into the car.

Performance was really good and I could feel the difference right from the fist lap. Some minor things had to be tweaked after, but all in all a really good day.

T1 Race shop car is getting ready for its first debut on the track. We are proud to be a part of the build with our wishbone and uprights kit and 15 inch carbon brake kit.

We are very happy to announce that we have acquired top of the line Haimer 20/40 UNO automatic drive tool presetter for our CNC machinery.

It enables full automatic tool measuring and transfer to the CNC machine tool table.

Japan 🇯🇵 is known for its quality, so there is no way they would accept any compromise in their builds!

In this one we’d like to show HMS Japan’s preparations to the Tsukuba race and footage from the track with the ready racing machine! 

 

“...Early in the new year, we began major modifications to our GR Yaris in preparation for the February 17th Attack.

As shown in the photo, all front and rear chassis members, arms, and even uprights will be replaced with ones made by Verkline from Poland. (...)

(...) After all, there is no genuine use, and furthermore, the alignment (bump steer, Ackermann, roll center, anti-squat, etc.) is all set from scratch, completely ignoring the manufacturer's parameters.

It seems that it will take about a week from installation to temporary set-up. After that, we will perform a further rolling test and set out.

These frames and arms are made of T45 steel tubes and billet aluminum, which are often used in WRC cars. In addition, all joints are pillow balls and can be adjusted using turnbuckles for fine adjustments.

Additionally, both the front and rear uprights are made from billet aluminum.

They are a left and right set, and the front is 11% (1kg) lighter than the original weight, and the rear is 26% (3.5kg) lighter.

Additionally, the front upright has the following adjustment mechanism.

・Roll center
・Camber gain
・Bump steer
・Ackerman
・Steering ratio
・Steering lock

A shakedown is planned for this month. I'm also looking forward to seeing the finished product.”

Moving 6 CNC machines from two locations into new was was quite a challenge. Especially in December.

Totally, we have moved over 💯 tons of CNC equipment❕

Second part of the task is setting it all in the new location.  We managed to get 3 of 6 machines running before the end of the year and 3 more will be done till the end of this week.

Big change is coming! Because we start moving the company to a new place from next month, we are clearing the warehouse.

Using same T45 tubing as in WRC cars, our subframes provide increased stiffness and mass reduction. All factory parts bolt up to this unit, no other modifications are necessary.

Benefits:
– 11 kg. It is 2 kg saving over OEM steel subframe.
– Possibility of adjusting camber, toe and bump steer for improved suspension kinematics.
– Additional mounting for upper control arm – provides better camber gain and roll center

As a result, my time was reduced by less than 2 seconds before and after installing Verkline (...)."
