Kakuni (角煮) is a Japanese braised pork dish which literally means “square simmered”. Our Buta No Kakuni (pork belly) is slow braised in a soy broth and served with asparagus, soft boiled egg & karashi mustard. It’s melt in your mouth tender and bursting with umami flavor. Try it as a a set or sencillo.

Kakuni (角煮) es un plato japonés de cerdo estofado que literalmente significa "cuadrado cocido a fuego lento". Nuestro Buta No Kakuni (panceta de cerdo) se cuece a fuego lento en caldo de soja y se sirve con espárragos, huevo pasado por agua y mostaza karashi. Se derrite en la boca, tierno y lleno de sabor umami. Pruébalo como conjunto o sencillo.

Our Agedashi dōfu is proof that tofu doesn’t have to be boring. Lightly fried with an airy crunch and a soft creamy center. Gently placed in an umami rich dashi broth and topped with grated daikon and bonito flakes. Simple, balanced, and true to tradition. Just like us.
