The property was once used as a place of residence by previous Spanish settlers, military command of the Spanish Armada who guarded the nearby Forts. There is still ambience of years past on the property with traditional European Spanish tiles, stowaway bunkers, cisterns, original wood fired stove, original wood trimmings and doors.

Amazing boutique hotel
Had a lovely 2 night stay at 352 Guest House. It is a very old, historic building in the heart of Old San Juan that has been beautifully kept up and renovated while also keeping some old elements and design. You’re treated like family by everyone who works there…everyone was so incredibly friendly and gave great advice for local restaurants and bars and ensured we had everything we needed, while still giving us plenty of privacy. The breakfast is amazing, cooked to order in a cute separate breakfast room, and included in your stay so definitely don’t miss that. We had a balcony room and it was 100% worth the upgrade. Beautiful quintessential views of Old San Juan. Last but definitely not least, there is a hot tub on the roof that you must rent out ahead of time in order for guests to have privacy while using. (We never had issues getting the time slots we wanted and it’s open until midnight). Amazing views of the forts, the ocean and all of Old San Juan. Perfect way to end a day full of lots of walking! You will definitely not regret staying at this beautiful, historic boutique hotel in Old San Juan…especially romantic for couples :)

We have a penchant for boutique hotels due to the personalized service and rapport with the staff, not to mention our love for unique and charming properties – and this place fulfilled all those expectations superbly. The room was stunning, with its 20’ ceilings, and beautifully appointed bathroom. The lobby, halls and restaurant were equally lovely but let’s not forget the rooftop! That rooftop…wow!! An amazing place to take in the city! Make sure to reserve the rooftop hot tub for an experience you will not soon forget. The night views from the private hot tub was the perfect ending to our stay. We’ll be back! “
