My brothers and sisters, I stand before you today with a heavy heart. As you well know, our families in Rafah have experienced tremendous hardship and suffering recently. The ongoing wars that have plagued Gaza have left many without a place to call home.
The winter months are upon us, and with them come frigid winds and bitter rain. However, for many of our people, finding shelter and warmth seems an impossible task. The ruins of what were once houses now offer no protection
Families huddle together with nothing but tattered blankets for cover. Children shiver as the cold seeps into their bones. It pains me deeply to think of our mothers, fathers, sons and daughters struggling to survive in such harsh conditions. They deserve so much more than that, they deserve the basic dignity and comfort that every human being deserves.

From the first moment of the unjust war, we, a youth group, took the initiative to help our people in Gaza. We established shelter camps, opened houses for free food for the displaced, opened drinking water wells, distributed Pampers and milk to children, distributed food parcels, and many charitable works, and distributed money to children. Orphans.
I come to you today with a plea – a plea for compassion and kindness toward our brothers and sisters in their time of greatest need. Together, through our shared humanity and faith in each other, we have the power to make a difference. Even the smallest acts of generosity, when repeated across many hands, can lift entire communities from the depths of suffering. We launched an emergency campaign to collect donations on behalf of displaced families in Rafah. Every dirham donated will go directly to providing temporary shelters, warm clothes, blankets, fuel, non-perishable food supplies and much more to the displaced.

Every donation, from a dirham to a hundred, makes a difference. I have faith that when given the opportunity to relieve suffering, our society will respond to the call with open and generous hearts. Together, through sacrifice and shared solidarity, we can restore hope to our brothers and sisters who have known nothing but despair.

Displaced families in Rafah depend on us. Their future and the future of their children is in our hands. I humbly ask you to donate what you can to this urgent cause. Every donation, regardless of size, will be put to good use to ensure the survival and basic dignity of human beings who have endured more than any person should ever endure. This is an opportunity for us to show compassion in its purest form. Please give from the depths of your compassionate hearts. Trust that together, through our collective strength and willingness to help each other, we can overcome even the greatest challenges.

Yes, the interaction has decreased, yes, people have returned to their work, universities, schools and commitments, yes, the season of parties, events and weddings has begun, and this is normal and the right of everyone. We are the children of life and we love it as much as we can…
But here is a glimpse of the situation in Jerusalem, the siege is still imposed in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood and the threat of forced displacement exists in the neighborhood and the town of Silwan as well. Families are still waiting for a court session to be set in a case that is not legal in the first place, but rather a political one.
Girls still wear T-shirts with a map of Palestine on them, and we will not leave, and we are all Gaza…
